He'll be a chucker in most of the people's mind. He will not be remembered like Marshall, Thomson or Lilee

Anyways, he'll remain chucker in most of the people's mind. I dont think he'll be remembered like a Thomson or Lillee.

Feel sorry for him. Fast bowlers are pron to injuries and needs to be supported. They would break down every time they try hard.

I agree with you.. But that will apply only for bowlers and not chuckers like Akhtar. Even in the most recent matches he played about a year ago, whenever he strived for those extra 4-5 kmph, his elbow bent evidently enough to convince anyone that he was a chucker and will chuck to achieve the target of becoming the world's fastest bowler. There used to be an unsaid competition between Brett Lee and Akhtar for the title of the world's fastest bowler and both their action's were reported by the on-field umpires at dirrent points in time. But Brett came out clean after making minor changes to his action but this guy has remained the same. The (in)famous two deliveries that he bowled way back to dismiss Sachin and Dravid of successive deliveries ina test match was credible proof of his chucking abilities.

Yawn!
grapes are sour! his action had been cleared like that of Murli. Sachin and Dravid were undone by pace! Its easy to accuse someone of chucking if he is from a country that has beaten india in cricket and hockey amicably!
