I do not know whether you will agree or not. But I can tell you that the Dhobi is the player who play for records, maintaing avarages, and so on.
He remembers even how many runs other have scored--this I learned from one of his interview in this IPL. Ravi Shashtri was also was surprised to know that how many Runs Raina have scored in all 20-20/ or IPL matches.

Are you mad? Player like Dhoni, Dravid are playing for our country. They never think or mind about records, Can't Get a average by playing a single game. Need to be consistent Dhoni did it. So he got that average. He is No:1 Batsman for last 3 Years.. Look at the consistent game he providing for our team...

But only in India where pitches are flat and you do not need technique. Well I like players with good technique because I enjoy their skills against quality bowlers.

No King. It appears offensive to you. That is why I specifically mentioned, NO Offense.
Good to know that you have played cricket. Please tell me what do u mean by consistent.
Dhobi could mentain his average by manipulating the situation to his own good --like coming ahead of player like Raina and Kholi when pitch was flat. You must also understand that I am not trying to change the minds of you and other die-hard fans of Dhobi.

just saying that its a fluke n jumping on to criticism with one or two failures of Dhoni is hallmark of LG's posts when its on Dhoni
We had for so long, infact Indian cricket history, for a good wicket-keeper batsman, till MS Dhoni. MS Dhoni average in ODI is around 50. Test average 40 odd. Gilchrist had ODI average of 37. Test average 50 odd.
MS Dhoni has played 60% of matches Gilly has played, which is not too less. Even when Gilly appeared on the scene, everyone compared his substandard wicket-keeping skills as compared to Ian Healy. Yet he became a success and i am sure MS Dhoni will, if he has not become already.

Atleast he is doing well compared to Yuvraaj, Sehwag or even Sachin when we talk about consistency.
Well, Dinesh Kartik can give good fight to Naman Ohaja for the best wicketkeeper batsman in India. I always feel that Dinesh Kartik never made full use of the chances that came to him before Dhobi came, otherwise Dhobi could have been unknown entity.
Pathiv is poor in both department.
Aditya Tare and Uttapa are both sloggers and make-shift wicketkeeper.
Ambati Ryadu is very very good batsman but he is not a wicketkeeper.

Dinesh Kartik has good batting technique that Dhobi who has no technique. That is why Dinesh Kartik can play any bowler at any place--India or out of India.
Dhobi and players like him can only slog on Indian pitches. I can tell you Dhobi will be failure on bowlers friendly pitches and team with good fielding skills. Dohi is surviving because of he running only.
