Waste of Time
by bravestar bravestar on Sep 30, 2009 07:53 PM

I think Rediff has wasted lot of time of this statistics rather concentrating on core issue which affect country. Media is so Hippocratic. Rightly said by Hitler when SC Bose went to ask for freedom. Our country is not matured enough to get freedom and Is still not

Height of desperation for India to qualify for SF
by chapa alexander on Sep 30, 2009 06:07 PM  | Hide replies

A very critical and systematic calculation, finding all the possible means for India to qualify for SF (which will not happen considering the way the Aussies are chasing the Pak score). Very interesting too. But poor rediff people, why do you keep wasting your time when what you are trying to do in land on the Sun (trying at night too?). It's just out of question for India to qualify.

A beautiful work of estimation and hope. But at the end of it all, it's just height of desperation. Frustration actually.

May the best team win.

India's chance

Why are we making calculations assuming that Pak will win against Aussies. Pak will prefer NZ to play in the semi as they feel they can win against NZ and reach final. Since NZ is on top in their pool, naturally Pak has to maintain the second position in their pool.

India Back to Old days ..old patern
by gautam more on Sep 30, 2009 05:56 PM

Seems the Glamour Dhoni bought is fading, every rising star fades, surprisingly dhoni is fading so fast...India despite of having sm legendary player and sm occasionally good player...we are going back to Azharuddin, ganguli era...loose most tournament..win 1 or 2.
even if india's match against Australia had not washed by Rain..it was unprobable that we wud have won..scoring 300 wouldnt have been easy in flood lights...so we were virtually lost 2 matches of three...Now captain wants to blame everyone except himself WTF. Dhoni's swipping the floor style has been sort of joke now..coming aressivly in front and jst pushing ball...probably he lost balls to play agressive shots he used to do....so guys..take back seat and forget india to come to no. 1 throne.3,4,5 is our std position.

Indian Teams Performance in ICC Trophy.,

I am surprised to note that our bowlers are not trained properly, I just wants to know what our Bowling Coach is doing, it clearly shows on the screen what he is doing.
I would like to ask Ishant Sharma, whether he had so much of wait hanging on his neck / and at his wrist when he entered Indian Team. Then why so much of unwanted things, try n analyse the batsman facing you and bowl accordingly.
I was confused to see his bowling against Australia, every ball he delevered is outside off stump, with enough room for the batsmen to swibng the ball.He knows he is bowling on the initial overs with restriction of field placing, his bowling looks very ordinary and it dose not look like he is in Indian Team.

He should ask him self, what he is doing, correct himself and do the job for the sake of our country. But ask him to correct himself OR go to a temple and become like a poojary with all hangings, have faith on Almighty and perform upto the expectations.

This way I dont think we require a bowler like Ishant Sharma for our country.

We have to tune our bowling & fielding coach to do there jobs properly, other wise I dont think we reuire them in out team.
