The real reason of indian failure is hyping individual performances.Cricket is a team game and only team statitics should be given preference.But we are always behind some player scoring centuries even if it is at the cost of teams interest.The players contract with the advertisers plays a very crucial role in that as most of them are paid depending on the time they stay at the crease.This leads to conflicts of interest and the team virtually loses.Its high time BCCI should look into this otherwise cricket will just become an entertainment show like WWE!!!

im feelin sorry for the westindies team their captn looked sad .... they have goood talents but theres no one to nurture unlike our multi crore bcci
although wi had been the weakest team. they had some good talented pace bolrs in roach.
roach has been the fastest bolr of the tourney n this is when v had bret lee, shane bond, johnson, etc. playing in the tourney. roach can b nurtured n trained by wi cb to become a lethal weapon for them in near future.

have u forgotten abt muralidharan???? and by the way sangakkara is any day better than dhoni...drop dhoni and either asif or gul and bring in sangakkara and muralidharan... And from the current players instead of mahela I will pick razzaq,dont know why he is not in the current ODI team

THE REASON I HAV PICKED DHONI IS THAT HE CAN QUICKLY AJUST TO SITUATIONS WHILE SANGAK TAKES TIME TO SETTLE DOWN. MAHELA IS A SOLID PLAYER, HE CAN WIN THE MATCH FROM ANY SITUATION AND RAZZAQ IS NOTHING IN FRONT OF MAHELA. WELL AFRIDI, SANATH, YUVRAJ AND SEHWAG CAN COMPENSATE FOR MURALI. ASIF AND GUL R QUALITY PACE BOWLERS. SO ACCORDING TO ME THIS IS THE BEST POSSIBLE ASIAN TEAM.

dhoni can adjust quickly???have we seen that from last couple of months whether in T20 or ODI's?????........sangakkara is a solid player and he can bat anywhere and better keeper as well... and abt Murali???a match winner can never be replaced by a part timer???murali can win u match any day.... and with Razzaq u have full 5 bowlers and Razzaq can bat also well in low order....so in that team u have 6 solid batsman,2 allrounders with razzaq and afridi and 3 good bowlers with Murali,malinga and either gul or asif
Indian team doesn't deserve to win the cup this time there performance was very bad and if they would have qualified to the semis by luck they would have be beaten badly better coming back than getting thrashed by pakis in semis as well. I wish Indian players would play better cricket instead of doing more ads and tv shows and making money in IPL.
Never in the history of cricket had any cricketer, let alone any captain who is supposed to be exemplary, deliberately insulted cricket in the way that this wretched wicket keeper captain of ours has done today.
To a person like me who is in love with cricket he looked very much like a debauch presiding over a marriage party.
