Smith was on the field for more than 90 overs. That is more than a full day in test cricket. He could not run because of cramps. As Smith said there should be some consistency in it. Some captains allow it and some don't and thats not really fair.
But Smith said what goes around, comes around. It will happen to Strauss one day and Smith will be opposing captain. Then you'll see the english making a scene. Already today in Eng v NZ, a situation that happened between two teams was repeated.

Tendulkar should be denied as well

Tendulkar can play only one innings. If be bats in the first innings, you can expect a substitute. If he fields in the first innings then you can expect him to be in the pavilion early.

Rubbish. Abhiram is absolutely right. Tendulkar has never been involved in India's big run chase barring 1/2 times. He is a failure batting 2nd. Always plays for himself. Never for the team. Only personal glory. Else how could he critisie Dravid when he declared the innings as Tendulkar was nearing a century in one test. Rubbish. Tendulkar is a below par performer batting 2nd. Agt. quality bowlers he has suffered. In bowling favoured conditions he has struggled. Once Akram hit him onthe head with a beautiful bouncer in a placid pitch like Sharjah. So technically he is not correct. So why talk of Tendulkar so high. If someone else has played for such a long duration he would have also scored scored as many runs as Tendulkar did. so nothing great about it. Just a mere achievement. Dravid & Laxman are far more superior then Tendulkar. Laxman should have been in the Indian team in place of Yuvraj.

It's not you fault Mr Chakraborthy.
It's like.. 'just because you can speak doesn't mean that you speak sense' AS ' just because you watch cricket doesn't mean that you understand cricket( or any sport ,for that matter)'.

let somebody play so long first, then we will decide. If tendulkar is not technically correct, then who is technically correct ganguly or dhoni? u r such a fool that u still dont understand cricket is a team game, if somebody wud have to play for personal glory then his strike rate wouldnt have been more than 65-70, not close to 86 after playing 430 onedayers. Now name the batsmen who have continuously played well in 2nd innings to win matches or have won more matches than tendulkar.

Saying sachin is not technically correct shows how pathetic your cricketing knowledge is.

When sachin plays in 2nd innings, the match looks very easy. If he doesn't, the chase becomes impossible. did u forget his innings in the final of triangular series in Australia or his innings against pak in 2003 world cup or his innings against australia in Sarjah. These matches were not easy, but sachin's batting made these easy. these are just examples.
He got MOM award 59 times in around 400 matches. on an average he gets MOM in one out of 7 matches. this is another great thing. If somebody still doubts his abilities, he should consult his psychiatrist

His betting average in second inning is less then 30 for fact.It is however a different matter that he is next to God for most fans & better not discuss him & accept him as all time great.

Laxman for Yuvraj .. what a joke. yuvraj is the reason behind India's only ICC trophy win in recent years
