Between batting and bowling,it is batting which is more important and more glorified. The entire "skill" part in batting, briefly, is that the batsman is able to hit the ball with such accuracy and force that it goes for a six or a boundary. None of India`s batsmen including our centuries-statistics champion Sachin has that basic skill. The problem is that they are mortally afraid of hitting any ball with a ferocious, passionate force because, of course, after hitting the wicket, the batsman has a merely fraction of a second to judge its direction, height, speed etc.and nobody can be ever confident of playing that ball. Not one batsman can do this "judging", and the famous ones are only fortunate most of the time. That is the reason why Sachin, Dhoni,Yuvraj, Dravid or anybody is likely to fail and disappoint us as on 26th Sept.test. I think Zahir Abbas some years ago had shown in actual practice how this great "luck" problem can be solved. Zahir Abbas did not wait for the ball to touch the wicket and fool him, but tried to convert the balls into "full toss" hits and he succeeded.All the "glorious" uncertainty and stupidity of trying to "judge" each ball were pushed aside. Instead of a lot of professoril talk our cricketers indulge in, they and the coaches must train for this brave kind of bating. It was pathetic and pain to watch our tail enders scoring single runs, having no guts to hit hard.And why should our bowlers be so stpid and incompetent as to fail totally to bat?

All permutations and combinations can certainly be of some help. But, the main thing is : India must concentrate on one of the two parts: BATTING or BOWLING. If India can give up the "text book" postures that vague "cricket culture" ofthe bygone ages, then our batsmen must show guts of trying to convert evry incoe ball into a full toss, and hit it for a six or a four. Sixes enable you to forget about opponent fielding/ run out, turn of the ball, body injury etc. and conserve batsman`s energy, besides making the opponents nervous. Bowling success hangs on a batsman`s mistake/ misjudgement etc. The other important and glaring problem of Indian cricketers is their very, very delicate physical training or health. Why should our cricketers suffer these wounds if they are mentally and physically fit enough to dodge the ball or avoid a fall. Even the warm-up exercises they are seeing doing as quite effeminate and wouldn`t strain any muscle whatsoever ! Remember Sir Viv Richard ? Any Indian cricketers coming close to that physical condition? The reason is that cricketers are mostly from affluent families and the high cost gyms or yoga/ aerobics etc. just can build them up physically. Surely,one can spot the vast difference between a standard football player`s agility, speed and that of our cricketers. Their plumb, handsome faces may be good for promo ads but they lack even normal, male facial muscles.
pakistan has plaed very sencible match yesterday. We didn't bowl well that's the reason. We have lost the match. We could have done better way. We would have got them got soon. Initial we have more change to win the matches. We have lost couple wicket soon that's why pressure has been build up anyway past is past at least we have to do the better rest of the matches.

Pakistan will ALWAYS win against India because the superior skill, passionate commitment,fierce national pride mixed with deep-set desire to crush India in all fields, and above all, its superb fearlessnes and diligence clarly seen on their faces during play against Inda in particular. None of Pakistans cricketers have reached half the level of crores earned by India`s cricketers !

You seem to have become pakistan fan after this win. Good teams are the ones who have consistancy in their wins. There is BIG question marks in every attribute you defined for pakistan.

Because of Dravid we able to play 45 overs against Pakistan. There is no replacement for him now. May home series with Austrlia we should try younsters
Dhoni should introduce Harban singh At the time when Pakistan was 65 --The irregular bowler can be given chance when Shoib Malik was hitting dangerously--field arrangement can be changed.The batsmen must be more cautious when hitting the ball. The earlier one or Two Batsmen must take agreesive mood to get quick runs. Failures are the pillars of success. All the members should take a lesson from this match.

harbajan is a wasted lot, fit do modelling, he only can show off in subcontinent wickets, he should be thrown out, late or early this hot tempered foold is a failure, he will only bring the moral of the team very low

We don't have spinner better than Harbhajan. only replacement is Amit Mishra who is not good enough.
Youni and other pakistani players are showing attitide of winners, looks like pakistan is going to go ong way in this tournament. They are playing psycological warfare before and after the game while focussing on cricket during the play.
India will not be able to win a single match out of the 2 remaining. They do not have wicket taking bowlers. wut kind of team is playing in Champions trophy??

India will able to beat only West Indies, just play 2 spinners. Dhoni already ask his player to pack bags to return.
BCCI has different set of rules for different players it is very palpable that having the cheif selector from south zone helped dravid to come back why was irfan pathan dropped, when he would have been handy as a batsman yesterday dinesh karhik is a regular tourist nowadyas when,u have wriddhiman saha who is better WK/BATS than dinesh karthik
also,chetshwar pujara and manoj tiwari r not given chances rohit shrma was stripped of bcoz of bad performance in only 1 series

You got it right. Since Srikant became selector all TN player started getting selected. Can any1 answer why Karthick was not in playing 11 if he originally selected and Dhoni played Kholi. After Sehwagh & Yvuraj best batmen in India right now is Rohit Sharma. And Why Dhoni not playing Praveen Kumar instead of RP Singh or Ishant Sharma.

use ur brains just dont scribble something, Karthik is a waste, Irfan would have been a waste like Yusuf, had it not been for dravid India would have faced their worst defeat against Paksitan, atleast that was averted, all these pujara/tiwar etc are only home lions, outside they are rats if sense prevail look like Laxman/Ganguly/Kumble can be brought back,This south/north mentality of people like u is ruining the game Dhoni and co are all from north see what they have achieved, simple dont write for the sake of writing

Accept truth my dear. Dravid really needed & played very well yesterday. His slow batting didn't cost anything as we lost by 50 odd runs and 5 overs was remaining. Karthick should not be in team as we have Dhoni as captain, so nobody will able to drop him. Better give chance to pure batsmen and Rohit Sharma is best right now after absence of Yuvraj & Sehwagh.
