SACHIN SHOULD SCORE OR GIVE SOLID SUPPORT ON OTHER SIDE
by pranav on Sep 30, 2009 10:06 AM

We cannot accept just being in the side for important matches like Champions Trophy and just get out for paltry 8 runs, common we are not interested Sachin is amaSsing total or his presence. We want a WIN. BCCI/SRIKANTH ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. He has not done anything in last world cup too, neither he has single handedly helped in any of the final world cup Indian victory. It IS almost sure that he is going to be there for on coming world cup, BAD MENTALITY OF BCCI. PLEASE WAKE UP AND STOP THIS.

Don't Blame Sachin Alone
by Uday Banerjee on Sep 29, 2009 07:32 PM  | Hide replies

It is not right to blame Sachin alone for the loss. There were 10 other players too including great Dhoni. But we have to accept one fact that Sachin has helped Team India in winning bi-lateral or three nations tournaments. But under Big Tournament, Big Occassion, Big Match and Big Score if all these are combined together, are enoungh to make Sachin Succumb. A few examples are-
1) 2002 Nat West Trophy Final
2) 2003 World Cup Final
3) India vs Australia match in 2006 Champions Trophy.
4) India vs Australia Super Six Match in 1999 World Cup.
5) Zimbabwe Triangular Series Final against West Indies in 2001.
6) 1998 Champions Trophy Semi Final against West Indies.
7) India vs Pakistan Independence Cup 1997 (Saeed Anwar's 194 Match)
.....

It is absolutely unfair to blame Sachin alone for the debacle, but being a great player could n't he have done slightly better in any two or three of these matches. 16000 runs 44 centuries with number of great wins would be great to honour a player like Sachin.
So Sachin... Please Greet India with at least one performance which India remembers for Centuries to come.

He could bowl too..but telling shoulder injury..I could bat only..that too ..he is not doing..for scoring 8 runs we could have given that chanse to young all rounders like Abishek Nair..why such idiotic mind sachin is having..not leaving space to youngster..he has contribute lot in early stage..but now he could not.we can't balme..that's it..please sachin put a full stop for your career..from your full stop ..some young energetic indian may start his journey..

As Pakistani fast bowler Aameer had hoped, Sachin had got out to his bowling...I bow doubt Sachin's experience...He has faced many other bowler's and played them effectively naa...Aameer had a trap for Sachin and he also fell into that...

Breaks, how so?
by Seenu Subbu on Sep 27, 2009 09:05 PM

Harbhajan gave 71 runs away, could you explain how he "in particular" put the breaks on Pakistani onslaught?
