India needs a healthy score and their Spinners to bail them Out!
by Talisman on Sep 26, 2009 04:12 AM  | Hide replies

India cannot replace Yuvi and Zaheer and Sewag, just like that.

Dhoni is not a very good team selector. He will probably not play Amit Mishra thinking of some nonsense like batting balance.

Pakistan can always self destruct. That is possible. So, india's best chance is to put up a nice total and let pakistan sweat.

His only chance of taking wickets is from his spinners. Part-timers won't do it for him. Ishant is a liability.

Play RP and Nehra and Harbachan and Mishra - your best bowlers. Leave out Ishant. No one will miss him!

Agreed. But R.P has not done anything better than ishant. I would prefer ishant in place of R.P and ask him to opne the attack and play amit mishra. But knowing dhoni, he wd include all the 3 pacers and leave out mishra...that is problem!

Paki. attack has a doper and a young and stupid teenager. Now, is that a pretty picture?

The point is, tomorrow, India is not fileding its full team. With its full team, you don't even have a prayer.

However, tomorrow, you do have a chance. Indian team is weak and probably is not playing at its best, except for the greats Sachin and Dravid.

Afridi is a bits and parts player. He doesn't even know why he is on the cricketing field sometimes.

So dont waste our time singing hosanas to a player that hasn't done much at world level, otherthan scoring some runs here and there.

They should seriously ban you from being anywhere close to our team, you first change our captain..then drop him..then hire a new one and spell him wrong. hehehe

PAK cricket team would go to any extent to defeat India, but truly they can never win. Afridi who talks about 110% will be out first ball duck and their captain will play the whole innings without adding value to the score.

PAK first practice, then play against India. Drug addicts in your team don't add value to the team strength. Their cricket affairs resemble their political and army administration and are self destructive.

Change your mind-set and do not challenge Indians

Very sad but true
by LG on Sep 25, 2009 07:20 PM

It is really painful to say that in India, lots of people still enjoy mediocrity and try to bring down greats. I just wonder how can India better China with young people of such mentality, even though we have larger young population.

Highly overrated Dohni’s batting Avg against Top Teams
by LG on Sep 25, 2009 07:19 PM  | Hide replies

Against AUS, SA, and ENG, averages only 32.4 ( 44 ODI matches, 1102 Runs, No 100s, 10 Not Outs)
If take out not outs, Dobhi averages only 25.0.
Well, you can see, he is mediocre cricketer and highly overrated.

things to ponder about pakistan cricket team
by Kalyan Satya on Sep 25, 2009 07:04 PM  | Hide replies

No offence meant to any pakistani or indian fan of pakistan cricket team, but it is definetly a thing to ponder that amongst all the cricket playing nations, pakistan team has always had players with very dubious pasts, drug problems, doping issues, match fixing issues etc.

accepted that AUS did have shane warne but he was the only one..pakistan team always had a minimum of 1 or 2 turnovers quite frequently.

it is definetly laughable when Asif gives the explanation that HAKEEM gave him some medicine and he being ignorent of carrying drugs in his purse..ofcourse it is comparable with what shane warne said about his mom giving him cold medication.

pakistan cricket team is full of such characters yet, they go scott free and most of them end up playing within a short span of time, just shows up how the establishment works in that country and how much of corruption it reeks off..

nothing to worry, but i was trying to look at the aspect of how pakistan cricket team sponsers individuals even when they have commited mistakes in the name of innocense and how they always go scott free and keep playing withouth an iota of shame or dignity..
