sehwag should be lauded for his acumen on cricket skills. he is so open and doesnt get his ego rule him. should have such cricketers more in the team, to go the aussie way.

i think he's not bad in playing cricket but he has to avoid this type of comments because it can spoil team spirit..

It shows that there is a group which does not support Dhoni as captain. Gambhir and Dhoni both are of similar age and both vying for captaincy means there will be a show down soon.
india at this time going under pressure due to the injuries of the star players, at this time sehwag is talking about captancy why?????? he is trying to disturb the minds of players specially dhoni. he wants that india will lose this series, so that he can put pressure on dhoni regarding captancy...it's a dirty mind game..

Rediculous comment..first of all Veru was answering some reporter in Ind. And second if this news make Dhonipressure and Idn loose. That means Idn captain can not handle local news pressure how can he lead a team to handle international pressure at all...?? I wish Ind win this trophy..But Veru's comments has no relation with any succeess or failuare of Ind team in this cup atleast...

He was answering a question. It's not like they prepare all this speech on half a dozen A4 sheets before they come to a press meet :)
I think Sehwag thinks too much. First let him be consistent in his game. BCCI will see who should be Indian captain. I think sehawag should be made stay at home like BCCI did few years back. he should understand his limits. he is not Sachin/Dravid/ganguly/kapil to give his comments

Looking back to Ind think tank strategy,Ind team had multiple ex captains present in team at a time. So Veru, UV are strong contender for that post if something goes wrong somewhere... Veru just spoke his mind out....But i sincerely think Gautam has loooong way to go for the post. couple of series success doesnt take any player to captancy...

Thinking is ok; talking all of it wrong. He can devote all energy towards batting.
