This time the around the situation is not looking too rosy for India, particularly against pakistan. We have lost three of our biggest match winners in the form of Sehwag, Yuvraj, Zaheer. Bowling too looks undercooked in the absence of Zaheer. Going by the recent form in Srilanka, Fielding and bowling left much to be desired. If they performed the way they did in Srilankan slow pitches and hardly winning the series, it can be said that going into the match we look weak against major oppositions, thats the fact right now.
But, nevertheless, I believe firmly that India will benefit on lively south african pitches. Also, we have quality spinners but yes the "Men in Blue" are very unpredictable. Tendulkar recently said "this is the best Indian team he has played with", also he has his personal wish to commemorate his 20 Yrs in cricket by being No. 1 team so maybe this spurs them. Also, u need a bit of luck.
Other side, Pak has shown resolve in WI game and return of Asif makes them all the more dangerous opposition, but still somehow, they have not managed to beat INDIA in ICC events. U Akmal also is a good prospect. Yusuf, Younis, Aamer, Kamran can take the game away within a few overs. This time they are talking about the past and giving their 110% to winning the game against India. This shows that the past is playing on their minds and are wary to lose to India they will be morally down in the CT. Best of Luck guys, Sweet dreams, but giving 1000% will also not be enough.
neither india nor pak are capable to win this championship.both are star studded but not capable.india can mostly win at home.sachin/dhoni/gautam/karthik can only excel if the target is below 250.they wilter under pressure if target is in excess of 270.high chance of aus followed by s.a./s.l/nz/eng/ind/pak/wi to bag this champion trophy

If they bat well then they will beat us. they have a terrific bowling attack. Only their batting can lose the match for them.

u r a dumb. analysing strength and weakness of opposition as compared to own does not mean he is not indian. Rajesh has correctly analysed things, india rally need to go after their batting and while batting we need to bat sensibly to defeat pak.
There is no doubt bowling attack of Pakistan in total is better than that of ours at present, but their betting is much weaker than ours even in the absence of match winner like Sehwag and UV.
I think Ishant and Nehra are as good as Amir and Gul and better than Rana any day. Maybe they have better spin attack
I strongly believe that on his day only Sachin is good enough for porki. I am sure Sachin with support from Dravid and Gambhir will win us the match against Porki on Saturday.
