Looking at the indian team for champions trophy i feel this team would be beaten easily though as an indian i don't want that to happen bcoz other teams like pakistan srilanka are looking strong

I don't want to say "Indian Team"...I am saying "BCCI's Team"...will beaten red and blue in SA and catch night flight to come back India......with covered their faces....Crap bowlling and fielding...Nothing to expect...very sad for moron fans..
Those who says Dravid is only test player and does not temperament for ODI can check above fact that he has decent average 37 and good strike rate even after 10,000 runs . Dravid ! you deserve comeback in ODI side !

You ask this question to Mr. Vengsarkar for that ? He is the main culprit. There are so many examples in the history that players are dropped for unknown reasons ? and he was not dropped for the first time ?

Strike rate of 71 from 100 balls is not good in One day cricket.. More so, from a specialist batsman.

Your description as anchor only gives the answer. The anchor has to steady the innings and not to go 6-6-6-6-6 way and so his average and strike rate perfectly fits in that catagory but still he proves that he has mentle for 20-20 cricket by giving recent performance in IPL-2 season. This guy has handled maximum critisim for labelled as test player for whole career still he proves them wrong by stats and IPL-2

Dravid's strike rate is greater than only RP Singh, A Nehra, P Kumar and I Sharma. Check the stats and then comment rationally.

Come on Mr. timepass. You give another 7-8 years to your so called Mr. Yujraj , raina , dhoni and then them inform me whether they are able to maintain the same strike rate as like dravid for last 14 yaers . You have to salute his consistency for 14 yaers and fitness.

surely irfan has a place in team as our fast bowler pair is useless
how much time an average indian wastes time on talking, analyzing about records...we saw the 90s when people wanted saching to score high even if india loses..such was the pathetic state of indian minds...not that i was not part of all this but atleast i realize now and am guiding my fellow indians..make use of ur time to do some useful things to urself or society
... that we can get the number of matches any player won for India rather than the personal records? Also the list should include the other country and the tournament too.

how do you say that an individual was the reason for winning a match? it is a team effort... Tendulkar could have scored a hundred and got out, but No 7 batsman would have hit 8 runs in the last over to win the match - who would u say has won the match for India.... u can't...
Re: is there a way ...

Sachin has acquired 59 man of the match, which comes after every 7 match. (428/59=7.25). Look at dhoni 12 in 142 match means man of the match after every 12 match. But dhoni is called at match winner not sachin. Why this? big question.

In that case Tendulkar will top the list with an incredible average of 57.35 in ODI matches that India has won. He has also scored 10,324 runs in ODI matches that India has won.

Don't know what bhud-was like Abhishek Das can do things single handedly in life rather than strike low blows on the legends.
Re: Re: Sachin
by Sriram Kailasam on Sep 23, 2009 07:54 AM
then ask tendulkar to go bowl and run for fielding by himself if u dont need the other 10 players... write sensibely... fact is sachin cannot win a match by himself... it is a team effort... i do agree he is a legend and contributes more - but he is not alone....
See the First two batsmens record in batting chart. Especially Sachin Tendulkar a huge record maker. If he click then the trophy will no go other side.

is it his fault only. Do u think cricket is a single man game. DO NOT WRITE SUCH STUPID MESSAGE

Even IM A sachin tendulkar fan but he single handedly cannot win a match or da whole tournament. It needs a whole team 2 win!!
