The top teams are doing prettey well & its the lesser knowns (including NZ) who have to figure out what they want to do. This is pretty much like socialism where the rish have to pitch in cos the rest dont want to do well. I cant agree with this formula.

have a series between west indies, bangladesh, kenya and new zealand...
I quite like the idea of a championship, but would like to hear more details about it. Apart from the semifinal and the final, let the home boards get their pie (just as it is right now for the current test series between two countries). All matches should somehow add to points and then we can have two semifinals and a final (the revenue of which will be shared between the ICC and the country that hosts the event). It will be fun. Day/night tests (especially for the semis and final) will add glamour to it. And draws should be eliminated from the semis and final.
LOL, You gotta give it to the goras...they will milk and make money as long as the only country in the world where cricket is remotely relevant panders to them.
In the USA where 80% of the Football players are African American, there is a rule whereby every team has to interview atleast one non-white candidate...In India you have the IPL where all managers, super consultant to owner, left arm pace bowling coach were filled by Goras.
Crowe was some super assistant to Mallya so he spent time in SA making money making money in the "Indian Premier League"...now he has another moronic scheme that Indians will fall for as long as Modi and Pawar get their cut.
Remember the Bukha-Naan clan milking Shahrukh..his cousin's step-son was the asst-wicket keeping coach....
Simple deal - Finals of venues should be a toss up between the two teams who make it to the finals...
And why do we need a final, semi final, anyway??? cant it be like the EPL...where every team plays each other twice..one away and one home and hence we are looking at 15 tests per team/ year....automatically test cricket will become important
Day/ night test cricket is critical...plus test matches must begin on fridays/ saturdays...why do u think India is playing only 6 tests in the next 18 months?????Our almighty board is killing test cricket because it is played when most of our junta is in office....
20-20 cricket might be popular but its not cricket at all...it competes with the soaps and the frivolous movies...and it helps lesser cricketers make a livelihood....its not cricket but its important....
Real cricket is one-day cricket..because it is played during the right time, (day-night) and gets over soon...
Champions trophy is vital...Haydens and Warneys are selfish bums...now that they have retired...they want 20-20 to flourish, hence makes stupid statements against ODI....

oh !! really ? India is just playing 6 tests in the nest 18 months ? their ranking will not get affected by this ?
That's a good idea !! but we dont need it every year. Once in a couple of years will be fine...so should be the case with Twenty World Cup...it should be once in every two years...or you will have to do away with IPL. I think no one will be ready for that. It means a lot of money for every one a lot of injuries.
Condition for teams other than england may not sute for every other teams. Only teams like australia and england would be knowing the playing condtion better since they play ashes series for every 4 years. Instead the teams should be given choice to choose the venues.
I believe this is a brilliant idea by Crowe. This will certainly add more value to test cricket but, the final venue should be decided on a rotational basis.
