Counting batting points against strike rate is a ridiculous way of deciding points. For e.g. - In the first match when India played against Newzealand, those who scored played with a lesser strike rate as demanded by the situation. A player getting out without scoring in this match and scoring in a high scoring match will end up having more points. The points should be based on match situation and if it was a hogh scoring game or not. Contribution of raina, dhoni, tendulkar in the first match deserved more points than the runs they scored, where as according to the evaluation their strike rate was less and they will earn less points.
sachin must go 6 four ina over , 6 six in aover , make highest runs in 50 overs ,fastest fifty up to the landmark .when people have great touch with ball must take a risk .plan one idea for one time . after carrier finish ,icould do .than there was not a option.
great player did all, which any one can do . if you want arjun in cricket , you have to prove ,you can do . if this will happend in this tournament it will impressive lot . rakesh kumar gupta 9414012566

Laxman - bcos he plays on both sides of the wkt, his form has been good in county cricket these days, plays bouncers even better than Dravid! I would take a 50 of 65 balls from him any day, any match!!

Crickbuff, I am also fan of Laxman, terrific player. but he doesn't play short balls better than dravid.
Yuvi is a match winner player, he talks with his bat and ball only, he has a sprit of real sportsman, teh only he need is recognition....there are no. of matches where Yuvi has played match winning innings.

Actually u have a point mate. Laxman plays bouncers very well - if that is the yardstick for selection, he should have been in the Champions trophy. And he might have learnt something running between the wickets by now! But he is definitely not a T20 player.
