Now this idea of 50/50 getting spit into 25x4 innings by Sachin... later someone else claiming to be expert of T20 will say its better to make it 10x4 innings.. i.e splitting the T20 into 4 innings... so are the general public including me fools to follow such nonsense..?
50 over match is perfectly recomended for an eleven member team. Otherwise only a limited few will get chance to play in a match. It might be boring for a person like Sachin because he has been playing for a long time irespective of his retirement time. Every lenged has to give chance for younger generation. It is too bad to remain in the team untill any body forces a legend to leave. Please understand that India is not short of players but lacks a fair selection board.
The format i wish to happen is, Team batting first will play for 25 over second team bat 25 overs... then the first team should start from where they were stopped the first innings.... that will be fantastic, dont care about tosss and etc etc
Steep priced tickets : Some of the pricing that we see at major centres for a day night match is simply diabolical.....how can you justify a ticket upwards of Rs 5000 for one evening of fun and relaxation?? I think the BCCI just wants to loot the common man and in the process the true lover and student of the game is being discouraged and rejected..... There should be a stand only meant for ex Ranji players and their relatives, there should be a stand for youngsters who play cricket for local clubs and these stands should have moderately priced tickets......
Excessive priced tickets only means that the people who eventually come to watch are people who are there just to have some fun and frolic and are not necessarily keen students of the game...the viewing public and its profile is one of the reasons why a sport survives.....
