predicting results

My guess is the world champions will lose at least five matches out of seven provided Dravid is not forced into the Indian team.

Six on seven D/N matches! Who says India is facing severe power shortages and the world is facing global warming. Come and speak to the BCCI and they will rubbish all these claims.

that is true!! its really unnecessary to keep so many matches in lights as it'll consume hell lot of power but BCCI are arranging D/N matches just to ensure that they'll have stadium packed even in weekdays!! they 're not at all bothered about the power consumption!!

mumbai and nagpur always...
by ravi m on Sep 19, 2009 06:34 PM  | Hide replies

Well, if its Australia, Mumbai and Nagpur always get precedence over any of the other grounds in India. There has to be a match in both these grounds on the same tour. Why is it so? Mr Pawar and Mr Manohar seem to have tremendous pull in getting big teams to play in two cities in Maharashtra all the time!

I am glad that atleast Hyderabad gets to host one. How long can they continue ignoring other venues like Chennai, Bangalore or Kochi? They could replace either Mumbai or Nagpur with one of these other grounds from the south. Big time discrimination this.

Guess the so called "rotation policy" on grounds applies only to the south and the north-east. Definitely not to the north and west! Heights of discrimination. Keep going, BCCI.

Are the cricket boards of these regions spineless?

Well said. It's always the North venues which gets these so called 'BIG' matches. I don't understand why Chennai has been ignored? Mr.Pawar should consider other venues also. Always Mumbai or Nagpur is not acceptable. organisers should protest abt this

If there would be match in Chennai definitely it will be washed out because of rain. Chennai is famous for this reason. And watch the past record most of the main mathces are washed out and always because of that series resultt goes against India. So it is better to dont have any match at Chennai.
