there are few players who r known for the performance...freddie is for sheer "presence"....not for comparision,even ifsachin tendulkars doesnt play in that particular match,his sheer presence in the team lifts the spirits of his team mates..same with freddie and his popularity with masses..freddie is a crowd puller aka david beckham
He is a champion lpayer IF HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY INJURIES. He is an asset for any team, that why IPL guys paid him heavily. But his biggest pblm is his fitness. In the recent ashes, we could see a half-fit Freddie. Due to his prolonged injuries, he got away from tests. 20-20s dont require much fitness, so naturally he moved into that. We cannot simply say that he is behind money.

Eng won the Ashes (some 4 years back though) due to this guy's superb allround show. Agree, there were other performing players also.

Flintoff is one arrogant overrated over-hyped cricketer who is just average if not below average. One who shines against australia on his day always gets overrated. Everyone knows his performance in IPL and except one test, what did he do in latest ashes? Still everyone says he is one of the greatest all-rounders--my foot!

Refused to give interview to Mihir Bose of BBC/Telegraph even after prior agreement... Tried to scuttle Saurav Ganguly's stay in the English leaugue by spreading rumours...

Was one the main instigators against Yuvraj Singh in the t20 world cup, when Yuvraj was racially abused by Flintoff, and Yuvraj took the anger out against the hapless stuart.... Flintoff is a racist, there are no boubts about it...

You are a moron.If you disagree with someone who is Muslim/Jew/Hindu over any matter does it make you anti Muslim/Hindu/Jew?Nasser Hussein was average at best, and Mark Ramprakash was even lower than that.So disagreeing about them doesnt make him anti-Indian.Monty is one of Freddie's best friends.Freddy has a lot of Indian friends in his hometown Preston.Almost all Lacashire players had issues with Ganguly's aloofness during his county stint.So get your facts right before you spout off.

I respect your view, but unfortunately he is one of the better players, BUT he is a rotten person...
