We need to bring back Madan Lal for Champions trophy.....
by Bhasmasur Khan on Sep 14, 2009 01:53 AM  | Hide replies

I think the 4 pronged bowling attack of Madan Lal, Roger Binny, Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev is what is required if India are to win the Champions trophy.......

How did you include that dadiyal majnu Chetan Sharma in the list...who only got hammered all arond the world.

Could you not include Kirti Azad, Mohinder Amarnath, Karsan Ghavri in the list instead.

Even my long dead grandma will bowl better with an orange that Chetan Sharma could ever ball with a cricket ball!

24 hrs Rank No 1
by stallone muthu on Sep 13, 2009 09:47 PM  | Hide replies

Just one win Team India and Media made a mockery to claim Team India is No 1. What a joke, You should keep win more match to maintain the rank. Team India should learn from OZ who were holding the Rank nearly 10 yrs. Overnight you can't be a Rank No.1. Very Sad. Keep try. May God bless you.

Is Ishant Sharma the next Ajit Agarkar?
by kuldip nair on Sep 13, 2009 09:25 PM  | Hide replies

Ishant Sharma has become too hyped ever since the took that brilliant over to dismiss Ricky Ponting in Test Series in Australia. In his last 15 ODI, he is giving away runs at more than 6 per over.
Still he is finding a place in the team, dont you think he is becoming the next ajit agarkar?

i think ishant should be dropped......its bad to know that india dont have good fast bowlers...well on the other hand countries to the north and south which is pakistan and srilanka have sum good fast bowlers..why cant india have bowlers like ..the malingas, akram ,,,,,,and pls sack our feilding and bowling coach...our feilding we have all seen in the final is very pathetic and we all know how good our fast bowling line up is....we only won the match bcos of harbhajan 5 wkt haul....or else ..the digital cup was out of the window.

'It was the worst day
by raman govindan on Sep 13, 2009 09:18 PM

india wins most of the time at others' mistakes and on the days the opponent is off form. it is on rare occassions of late they win on their strength.

The whole thing is that.....
by Ashish Kumar on Sep 13, 2009 08:58 PM

The whole thing is that it is all about money. BCCI got the tri-series re-scheduled to organise Corporation Cup to make some more money. This resulted in the Indian team playing back to back matches. Returning from a two month lay off and then playing back to back ODIs is something only gods can do. No discredit to team India.

Sreesanth is 100 times better than Ishant
by Sumit on Sep 13, 2009 08:55 PM  | Hide replies

Selection committee bias continues.. India is the no. 1 team in the world if Sreesanth join the team back. Zaheer, Sreesanth, Nehra & RP is the best bowling side for India. In the absence of Zaheer they can consider Ishant as the fourth bowler. He is good for nothing.
