ACCORDING TO ME IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA, OFTEN WE WOULD SEE MATCHES FINISHING IN ONE INNINGS AS ONE TEAM GET BUNDLED OUT IN FIRST SET OF 25 OVERS.ALSO IT WILL MAKE THE PLAYERS TIRED.

Sure.... players will be tired by playing 2 sets of 25 overs as opposed to one set of 50..... :)
You remind me of the guy who was ordering pizza, and when asked how many portions should it be cut into, 6 or 8?, he answered 6 - coz I'm not feeling very hungry...... :)

"Master Blaster" title belongs rightfully only to one player i.e. Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards Nobody can ever qualify for that title
Wanna say to all my fellow viewers, 50-50 format has lost its taste lets do something for to get back to our past and watch out where cricke was born which was one among the most widely viewed games. Is in the edge of extinct.
It would make the task of weaker teams much more harder as they have to get rid of hard hitting openers of the opposition twice. This format would benefit strong teams more than weaker teams. To make it more competitive, batsman out in the 1st innings should not be allowed to bat in 2nd innings, then it would be more competitive and beneficial for the weaker teams also.

Or may be allowed to bat when all the 10 from 1st inning are gone...Giving chance the team to play all 50 overs any way...
this tulkar will get to bat 2 times and can also remain not out bez he will play the sheet anchor & he will easily improve his average. whereas the middle order batsman like yuvi, dhoni, will hardly get any amount of over . no dont worry folks all the sachin master blaster records will remain intact............

yes, you are right! From somewhere in middle of last decade sachin was was more concern about his own statistics (perhaps he was made to be concious by none other than SMG) than team's causes. Although there were many instances where he played for the team but he could have done much better to team India if had he not worried about his own statistics.

You do not know what you have missed out in life there are also good things in life other than studies.
Imagine your self playing like of Glen Mcgrath, Wasim Akram,Shane Warne, being successfull against them is equal to Nirvana.
Better Luck in your next life to play cricket in the international level.
its not an idea that came up in sachin's mind from nowhere. Indian has played Max cricket in New zealand where there were 4 innings of 10 overs each ( i think this was the 1999 tour)

Why you guys always like to write the criticism. And why do you think that Sachin had brought this idea after 10 years later.
