If you have Sachin in the team and you are still unsure whether who opens the batting for your team, I dont think you are fit to be coach of that Team. R u trying to make a fool of yourself?

Tendulkar is of course a great player but we should be practical. just ask yourself does he have the same contribution to opening batsman as it was in his pick days ?? Question yourself and would definitely get the answer.

Well, U know what, forget if he is as good as he was in his pick days. The fact is, when opposition teams see Sachin at no.1/2, they are a bit cautious from ball 1. He can therefore prove a a blessing for Gambhir, who could take advantage of the oppositions approach and make more runs.
Again, with Dravid at no.3, U got to have Sachin at no.1/2

I’m also confused why they are saying this! If you have Sachin in your side then there should be no uncertainty like this. In New Zealand, he scored around 250 runs in just three innings as an opener. If not Sachin, who the hell will open with Gambhir, Dhoni? F**k him then.
