Dhoni has accomplished what Sachin couldnt,he won WCUP,sachin isnt even part of a team that won a major ODI Tournament,Dhoni is fearless and never plays for record,so his popularity grew much faster,Dhoni talks much less than Sachin,whos been giving one interview a week these days and most of them are just praising himself and talking nonsense like how his bat is so important(like we all dont know a bat is most important for a batsmen),so any news about Dhoni makes sachin fans very jealous Dhoni is a great player,first one to really care for the team as he once withdrew due to fatigue and came back roaring unlike Sachin who just wants to stay as long as possible for selfish reasons.... Sachin fans face it,he isnt a hot cake no more,go check Dhonis record,he may not have 30000 international runs,but is a genuine match winner

Sachin is a living legend and Dhoni has still a far distance to grow. Cricket is team game and Dhoni is winning because including Sachin everybody is contributing and hence winning. Unfortunately you must see the records where sachin played well but others have let the team down.

Dhobi is nothing but just opportunist. He is not match winner just burden of team & playing politics. Whereas Yuvi & Sehwag are true match winner

S buddy Dhoni is a "opportunist" I admit that. But there is a skill called "Leadership" and "Presence of mind in the field" these 2 qualities make him to be in the No.1 spot. It is not that he doesn't hit boundaries, but his runs, his temperament in batting and winning average makes him to sit in the no.1 spot.

Agreed on this buddy . I think we shudnt compare Dhoni and Sachin. Sachin is always best.you can see in even recent matches how he bats.Hats off

Guys Winning for country is important.... Either Dhoni or Sachin. Eithr Dhoni is playing politics or a Gambler, he is doing the best to keep India on top charts. Enjoy the game...
CRICKET RANKINGS ARE USELESS... THEY DONT REFLECT THE REAL SITUATION... it does not consider the opponents u play against... so if u play more matches against bangladesh and other weak teams, u have great chance of scoring more runs and increase your ranking...

Please go and check the rating systems. There are weights assigned for opponents and home/away series.
forecasting cricket news from everywhere is making cricket boring. i was great fan of cricket but now i don't feeel like watching this game at all. not at all excited of any tournament now.
sachin fans unable to bear d fact that in 20 years, one player emerged who has beaten sachin in terms of brand value! ICC no.1 dhoni is a true inspiration 2 youngsters and a great target for jealous critics…
if only class mattered, sachin shud remain in form even when he is out of form...style or class is just an excuse 2 comment on dhoni..had class been d only criteria, aakash chopra shud be no.1 batsman..its his leadership skills dynamic personality AGGRESSION which makes him no1...

those who say dat dhoni does only ads shud have a look at expert analysis...also they should realise dat ads come 4m performance...not vice versa...
