Well, be careful and do not mention that you watched ICL...he will kidnap you and prolly have your eyes gouged...look up about the time he spent in prison in USA for kidnapping.

The Indian media will take his side and say what could he do...you watched the ICL so he had to remove your eyes...as it was a "REBEL" league...as they have right now...he will continue his dadagiri and the media is so complicit that it is shameful...so much for India making progress..u have this well connected goon running cricket and having access to millions while idiots watch cricket and he decides to share his spoils with the tax evading Bollywood characters.

Let us see if rediff keeps this post...like any media outlet should or just deletes it

Jai Hind

Again, we will some Indians who will always Cry no matter what good someone does..
This guy Modi did something good for all of us by bringing in IPL...it created economic value for all of us..
Still there will be some Indians who will cry and claim corruption..
This is India for you...

Please give him his credit..He did something constructive and he has a right to his profit.

He is a goon of the highest order. You are very simple minded not to see it. He has corrupted and defiled the sanctity of the game for millions of bucks. Cricket is reduced from a gentleman's game to nothing but a bunch of goons swilling beers and jeering at the gyrating cheerleaders. Next they'll have a T0 instead of T20 where players swill beers and bang cheerleader chicks outside boundary ropes while game is decided on a toss. Maybe you'll be in the stands cheering then.

Why Not...Cricket was/is never a gentleman's game..its not even a sport..So IPL has made Cricket attractive and an entertainment option..I will be happier to be in the stands and cheer what you described, rather than sitting quietly at home with an internet connection and watching porn.
Dont worry, i will record it and broadcast it to you for watching on the internet...

He is not a great man who does some thing favour to India. Don't make him popular by doing all these things. Rediff has no news now a days so that they encourage these kind of things.

I think he has done the country greater favour than any filmstar. He single handedly demonstrated to the country and the world that India is capable of holding world class events.

May be you are true..but he has probably run into allegations because he has rubbed the elephant sized egos of the idiot BCCI babus...guys who should better be handling kabbadi...
Allegations apart he did something extraordinary by holding a successful IPL in SA in just a month's time.

the credit for that doesn't go to him. He stole someone's idea..even the idea is not his. It is Kapil's dev. The legwork is done by others.

Well, having ideas and implementing them are 2 different things. he did someting like this when home minister has raised his hands about the security of holding IPL in India. By your standards, it is not even Kapil's idea, it is ZEE TV's Subhash Chandra idea who started ICL but could not take it far. Kapil Dev was just a failed coordinator of ICL.

this is funny ICL is not kapils idea or anyones idea

Many countries were playing this before and same is ICL

but IPL got it in bigger stage which could not be handled by ICL and BCCI supported IPL as ICL formed in heat of india losing world cup then and it was like ICL was challenging BCCI
