I am writing this with pain this happens to evryone and sachin is not spare of these. Sachin is compared as GOD of CRICKET it was true 3-4 years back but not now. Sachin fails on every big occasion. This is 7 match series and it is quite easy for any batsman to perform in one or two get a centry complete 17000 runs and become god. This is game of common people not god and he should sit in the stands and give other youngsters chance perhaps virat kohli.

R u mad?who will replace Sachin?Any suggestion?KOHLI?Is there any Cricketer in the world who can replace Sachin?
Sachin should be there in the team . he is playing for the team since 16 yrs and all the fools say that he is playing for his own career, but we all know that there was a teamindia a few years before in which if sachin failed to bat the whole team would be crushed out.please dont forget the past .He has onehandedly led the team in many matches and now may be a few good players would have emerged but still they dont have the grip in cricket like sachin..................... so EAST OR WEST SACHIN IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

every match is new and every match counts. we just cant carry on with the history. If he is considered as god he should not play with common people and he should sit in stands and give his blessings to youngsters

This and many experts on cricket say ... Kotla could be a low scoring affair. Yes in Delhi and grounds up north, it gets very cold in the evenings/nights (say 5 degrees more colder and there would be a lot of dew on the surface and ball would skid on and come quicker at the batsman and tend to make shot playing a little difficult. Also when batsman hits, the ball may not travel or race away to the boundary so quickly on a dew filled soggy outfield as it would in hotter regions with less soggier, less dew covered outfields like Nagpur or down south.
In such high scoring games itself (where India scored 285 runs and 354 run totals on a good batting wicket), the World's greatest batsman could muster only 14 and 4 runs that too consuming 29 and 8 balls respectively.
Imagine what this great batsman would score in a low scoring ground like Kotla in Delhi today.
It would be great if he scores a quarter century (25 runs) to say the least. Anything more than that is a great bonus for us Indian fans and we would be very happy. I personally would want to see him score a 50 runs in this match. Great players are those who score runs when pitch doesn't assist them and when batting under lights or playing on low scoring grounds.
Hope Sachin does some great magic with his bat for India, other than just wearing India flag on his helmet. Come on Sachin. You are the greatest batsman and you should show the world that. I want to stand up and clap for you more thanot for Bhajji.
ON SLOW WICKETS & SWINGING WICKETS RAHUL DRAVID IS THE BEST. I DNT KNOW WHY SELECTORS DIDNT PICK HIM. MAY BE BEC OF SLOW RUNNING BETWEEN THE WICKETS & FIELDING.

Yes, Dravid is technically very proficient and suitable for wickets where runs are at a premium and where he can take his time scoring them. But most of the wickets for ODI are batsman friendly ones where tall scores are the order of the day. Dravid cannot be taken for one match and dropped for others. Hence, he has no place in the present side.

Dravid's fate is more or less over!! especially if India win this series! His days in test cricet is also numbered! he should now accept the fact that he cannot go on and on and on .... like sachin !!!

yeah he can...but it is better to be more consistant then to flop in 2-3 matches and then hit a century. We require a consistant sachin.

Strange logic... Sunil Shastri. I dont understand. You are saying after 2 or 3 flops he will make 100.
He has played 432 ODIs till date man (so one 100 in every 4 matches according to your crazy formula means he should have scored atleast 108 centuries till now. But he has scored only 44 centuries na !).
Stop talking silly man. Its not easy to score 1 century in every 4 matches. No one is so consistent, not even Superman or Batman :-). We are human beings.
Sachin is great because he has scored 1 century in almost every 9 ODIs played.
Don't forget he has scored 91 half-centuries (50s) in remaining matches (432 - 44)remaining 388 matches, which means 1 fifty in every 4 ODIs approximately. Thats why he is consistent :-)
So in 4th match in Hyderabad (my city) he could score a 50. Its also Sachin's favorite ground. His highest ODI score of 186 is in Hyderabad only. I am waiting to watch this great man blast runs in this city soon.
