I remember one match of that series in which they thrashed the highly overrated team in blue in Nagpur where seeing the green track captain ganguly didn't even play the match.

What is "Pointing"???
Secondly, you seem to have some different record keeping system which tells you that Gilly was captaining Australia in 2007-08, and during their TVS cup win in 2003-04.... :)
I suggest you direct your record seeking attempts towards Cricinfo. :)

Exactly , because BCCI is always afraid of making pace freindly pitches, just because of fear that cricket lovers might not turn up for the matches. Its been a long pending project of BCCI to make pitches suiting fast bowlers. Previously K Srikant had set up a committee for pitch upgradation, but nothing came out of it.Its time to make pitches sporty to restore interest in test matches as due to 20-20 even onedayers are becoming boring.Another point is, we are not having a world class spinner other than Harbhajan , and we are having bowlers like Ishant. So it will be very useful.

i do not know why we want to do same what western people are doing. why to make fast pitches. cricket is more popular game in world due to india and we are the number one or two team now a days. i agree we lost in foriegn countries but they also face difficulty in subcontinent. so let every country enjoy his type of pitches. otherwise all matches will become monotonus.

Then how come the Tendulkar will make runs. I think the BCCI's priority is, making sure that Tendulkar is playing and making runs. Poor BCCI, stupid Tendulkar is disappointing them almost every time.
I dont understand that why the hell he is not taking retirement and making way for some promising newcommer.

The firmness of pitch has varied factors which includes moisture and humidity. soil texture varies with external influence. Though you might import the upper soil with the heat and hummidity india would be cursed with only slow and spinner friendly tracks.
