Twinkle Twinkle Little star Sachin is the super star*** Great going Sachin.... We hope u continue with the same spirit of playing.... We look forward for some miraculous centuries ...! cricandcric(dot)com
It was a Dhoni show all the way. After a long long time he led from the front whether it was batting or captaincy. His century innings was easily one of his best , may be next only to his Jaipur innings of 148. However the credit for the crushing win should go to the entire team, especially to the initial momentum built up by the one and only Sehwag and his partner Gambhir. The latter batsmen kept up the momentum till the end to their credit to pile up the mammoth total which saw a totally transformed bowling side. The initial pace attack of Praveen kumar, Ashish Nehra and Ishant virtually sealed the match for India in the first 10-15 overs. All the spinners also bowled well though not really ‘tested’ under the circumstances. Yes, Harbhajan’s initial spell was refreshingly better compared to what he has been bowling recently. The spinners’ real worth can be judged only in the coming matches when the aussies are also going to up the ante. In this match however Ponting’s complacency and the team’s insipid performance made the match completely one sided. Let us hope for an exciting series.
It is nice that the ppl who are posting in this forum are not selecting the playing eleven or else we would never have a regular eleven - Sachin did not play well, drop him; the next match sehwag did not play well, drop him; this match yuvraj played well, make him captain; gambhir played well, make him open; harbhajan batted well, make him one down - and so on and so fort the team would keep changing.
Gambhir is currently in great form and very consistant. he must open the inning. For that 1 in sehwag and tendulkar should be kept out of team. Dhoni should come 1 down. yuvraj singh as usual 2 down. This will be the best batting order
