370 *Difficult chance for AUS to win 360 * above average Target(-40 makes Target as 320) Fighting chance for AUS to win 330 * competitive or average total (-40 makes Target as 290)Fighting chance for both teams to win 320 * Below Average but Fighting Chance(-40 makes Target as 280)Neutral 310 *AUS Win(-40 makes Target as 270) if not for good indian fieding & bowling 300 *(-40 makes Target as 260) AUS win easily except for luck from Indian side good fieding & bowling 290 *(-40 makes Target as 250) AUS win ensured except for miralces excellent fieding & bowling
Note: (Minus)-40 -> Fielding Lapses Poor Power Play&Final Overs Bowling Conceding too much extras
Failure to realise this will only result in unavoidable humiliating losses for India not like 1st ODI where luckily they had guts to fight it out
One & Only way for Indians make up for this is By Scoring those Additonal Runs & go with proper balanced
team from the available squad
My 11 for 2nd ODI from the Available Squad 1->G Gambhir 2->STendulkar 3->SRaina/MS Dhoni 4->YSingh 5->VSehwag 6->MS Dhoni/Raina 7->H Singh 8->A Mishra 9->P Kumar/ M Patel 10->I Sharma 11->A Nehra

bahut phaltu time hai..... soban babu k paas.... pls do let us know d individual scores which these batsmen should score in d 2nd odi.
Indians need to understand and accept that they need to make at least 30-50 additional runs on top of the total they have in mind some times even more irrespective of the opposition(except 4 minows like
banglades/namibia)
For each and every ODI Indians play (20-30runs for Fielding Lapses, 10 runs for Running Between Wickets-
>optional, 10-15 for conceding extras, 10-25 Runs for Poor Bowling during powerplay & Final overs) No matter which team they play against not only this game but all the rest of ODI's in the future against
whomsoever pick the right balanced team to fight hard till the last to avoid embarassing defeats
Finally to go to a game with never say die/don't give up attitude. I Still wonder how many players in team play like that remember that many from 1st ODI after 1st session Oz's team felt that 325 was a good target but finally they ended up in making 292 which when converted to standards of Australian Fielding and Bowling
might be 325
So i personally feel with the outfield that Indian Grounds are lightning fast so 360 as Indian target in an ODI vs
AUS is =320(-40 for fieding lapses poor Powerplay death over bowling conceding too many extras makes
320 as Target for australia which is not impossible/ extremely difficult to chase in indian grounds
so when setting targets for AUS consider ground size, pace of outfield Avg Target is330 (= 290 ) Note: (Minus)-40 -> Fielding Lapses Poor Power Play&Final Overs Bowling

How can u expect indian team to win against a quality pace attack n a brillient fielding unit such as aussies have...? it's loud and clear tat these 20-20 format players are easily getting places in indian team, they dont have the ability or technic to play against quality pace attack..solution is simple ...play Dravid at no.3...and kick out those 20-20 players...it's nonsense to comment about the ability and skill level of Dravid in one day cricket..a prooven quality player, who can play under any situation, capable of building innings and developing partnerships, playing till the end while chasing target or setting target... any one can throw his bat and score few runs, but the important thing is to play according to the team needs, tat's missing in indian team...it requires ability and skill levell..only dravid is capable of these things...

Why the selectors select Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma instear of Robin Uthappa,Dinesh Karthik Yusuf Pathan Laxmipathi Balaji Irfan Pathan I think they paid some money to selectors
i think its time to take VRS for MS Dhoni he is a player who cant hit a single six now a days i saw his innings against Srilanka where he score 183* and Pakistan we lost that Dhoni we are very proud on him that time that we got a diamond from Ranchi for indian cricket team he dont have batting techniques like sachin Dravid and Sehwag he just push the ball no signs of techniqes in his shots

Jadeja bowled well in previos game. infact he bowled better than harbhajan. He needs to improve his batting under pressure though. We need to give him more time

Come on ravi we are playing a ODI series not worm up matches that we give time to improve.

your comments are under prejudice...dhoni practices nepotism by virtue of which players like ishant find a place in the team..now jadeja is still favoured...yusuf and irfan are good players compared to likes of kohli who grasses at least one catch per match...and pls dont bring back the uncles of past..like munaf,balaji... better invest in some mediocre guy so that he is groomed..
A look at India's Leading bowlers average Vs Aus: 1. Nehra: Wow he gives 67 runs to take a wicket and needs 65 balls to take it. (he is Spearhead of our bowling attack) 2.Bhajji: I wonder y people are telling he plays his best against Aus, after seeing this stunning stat. He needs 63 balls to take a wicket and gives away 50 runs (Such a crap bowler who only boasts..Yuvi & Sachin are better than this overhyped idiot)
But For Aus bowlers it is as follows: Lee: needs 23 balls and gives only 29 runs Johnson: Needs 26 balls and 36 runs.
And it does worth discussing & comparing the fielding of two sides.
It will be a super batting effort if the end result will be 5-2

On pt. 2 I agree. Bhajji's batting improves against Aus especially if you see his last few test and ODI inngs. But his primary role is bowling and he's very ordinary in ODIs v Aus. On pt. 1 - i do not agree. While Nehra's lifetime performance may not be good, he has made a deserving comeback and has bowled well since his return. So, we should give him a fair chance till he actually underperforms.

May be. But I like the indian batting might better. This lee-johnson combo is not like Mcgrath-Warne era.
These two guys can be picked off as Sewag showed. I predict either a 5-2 india win or a 4-3 india win, which is much more likely, given that the dhonis's team is prone to lethargy and dont want to be world beaters, yet.
