Unfortunately, many Indian are crazy about someone cool. Media care about rating and agencies need money. They got it by promoting a fool like Doobhi as cool.
Both fools and intelligent people do appear cool until they tested under tough circumstances. But fools are exposed in such situations as their acting is exposed--example Doobhi.
People are coming out with suggestion of bringing certain discarded players back. Is it worth?
There is no point bringing back players who discarded players unless they have shown significant improvements both in skills and attitude as well.
I would prefer that new players with potential should be tested—like Sudip Tyagi, Manish Pandey, Ali Murtaza (spinner), Rahne.
However, I suspect that any youngster who gets success fast will not last like the ones in the past. It is because with success comes the easy money through ads in cricket-crazy India.
