Professionalism
by naveen dhanerwal on Oct 25, 2009 08:57 AM

Did anyone see Indian team practice session?
They were practicing without gloves, pads and some even without helmets! They don’t give a damn if they got injured doing so; like they are the master of the game.
Team India lacks of professionalism. That’s why they are way behind when comes consistency talk!

Did you see?
by Truth on Oct 25, 2009 03:29 AM

Did you see, Munaf is staying away from Gambhir? Rest of the team checked him but Munaf stayed away. He thought may be Gambhir will kill him.

Munaf in news again
by edwin fernandez on Oct 25, 2009 02:18 AM  | Hide replies

When he burst out in the scene Munaf was considered to be the fasted bowler at that point of time. He could bowl consistently in excess og 135 KMPH. He was also a good expert of the reverse swinging yorker, with the old ball. But our great pundits advised him to concentrate on line and length and the end result is his action modeled like Glenn McGrath. He has lost his pace and invariably his sting.

All their lives, the likes of Brett Lee, Shoaib Akhtar, Shane Bond, Ntini etc have been bowling fast. That's their weapon and they were encouraged to use it. But alas, our pundit are hell bent on having players remodelled as they wish.

purush, After eating nonveg, how fast did you ever bowl? 35 KMPH? Point is, just by eating non veg, a bowler does not become brett lee or shane bond

100% agreed.

firstly it was gr8 chappal who damaged our bowlers as well as batsman. he undid what lilee had done with the likes of munaf.

then v had unique venki who himself was a gentle medium pacer. he reduced pace of another- ishant.

beware of such coaches.

do an honest analysis of chappel.

except for the world cup bloomer, Chappel achieved more than anything else before or afterwards has.

Today , there is a fair chance of players from anywhere with talent to hope and get selected to Indian Team. No senior can dictate and destroy the team due to his reputation without performance.

Also, we have now a more fitter and team oriented team now than ever before.

The only problem with chappel was : although he enjoyed his Indian Curry, he did not allow the masala to go to his head.

Heil Chappel !!!

Weakness against short deliveries
by unknown rahul on Oct 25, 2009 12:48 AM  | Hide replies

Nobody is noticing the weakness of these younger players against short deliveries. Gautam gambhir doesn't really know how to avoid a short delivery, that's why he was struck on the helmet. He is neither a good puller nor a hooker. They are susceptible against short deliveries. These players will struggle against the quickies of Australia with the speed clocking 150km.
