We need more bowlers like Praveen Kumar who are medium pacers and use their brain. Let some one like Binny be the bowling coach, who has been reasonably successful. Let us throw away people like Srinath and Venkatesh who remained enigmatic through out their career.

In which era u belong to yaar? Binny is more successful than Srinath!!!! Are u mad? have u ever seen binny or Srinath playing? You must have heard some heroics of binny for India's fluke world cup win in 1983 just after which India lost to WI in straight 7-0.....Even Prasad is better bowler than minnows like binny,madanlal.sadhu of Kapil's era.

There is no need to abusive. Perhaps you have not read the interview properly. Sandeep has mentined that his main weapons are speed and in-comming balls to right handers. Sandeep was highest wicket taker in the emerging nation tounament in Australia. Sanddep was in the team not as a UP bhaiya but as an Indian. Another young fast bowler Kamran Khan who earned lot of fame in the IPL should also be considered, He has a great potential. I am happy that 'supermovas' wife is from UP to make him eligible to call all UPeans his sala. supermovaji try to be a true Indian and leave this regional bias.
mm....Just hand him over to Venkatesh Prasad. Let's see after a year or so. Then, he will be the slowest fast bowler on earth. He will be vigorously coached by slowest fast (Venky holds the record for bowling slowest fast ball at 51 Kmph, FYI our city bus is faster than that) bowler of the Universe, Mr Venkatesh Prasad. God save Indian fast bowling talent.

Venkatesh Prasad was a fast off-spinner. And he wants all Indian bowlers to become like him. He converted Ishant into an off-spinner, and I hope our Sudeep doesn't fall for this southie guy.

Venkatesh Prasad is no more the bowlin coach. However i dont think it was venkatesh prasad who makes them bowl slow, its the dead indian pitches which do not encourage fast bowling, also the mentality of indian bowlers who to prolong their career and to avoid injuries bowl slow.

Hindustani, you really seems to be stupid a lot, Ishant sherma, munaf patel did not come from moon, they were brought up on such wickets, if they could ball initially at the speed of 140 why they reduce it the moment they get into indian team, Srinath never reduced his pace.Pakistandd also does not have fastest of wicket still they produced some pacers. its with attitude of pacers, nothing else matter. They want to prolong their career and hence they resort to ball at medium pace. IPL , ACL, Ranji and top of that there international matched. in quest for money they ball day in day out and get injured.
UP Ranji players like Piyush Chawla, RP, Praveen Kumar, Suresh Raina, Mohammad Kaif, and now Sudeep Tyagi get fame because of hard work and talent. Players from rest of the states get into team India because their uncle is someone important in BCCI. UP Ranji team is much better than team India. UP Rocks, rest of them....

The last thing i wanted to be was regionalistic. However, its just the twisted argument which apalls me. Subbu is talkin about UPites lookin for jobs all over. doesnt alk about UPites getting those jobs as well. This is by displacing incompetent locals. lets not get drawn into this conversation any longer. Sudip is as indian as anyone else.

You look at the champs league teams recently and the bowlers from SA,Auz were all around 135 k/hr. Tyagi has to be the best 20 year old bowler in the world, as he's got bounce, pace,swing. I hope he's the man of the series against Aussies

can anybody tell me how fast can tyagi bowl? talk abt speed and u need to be like lee or johnson otherwise indian fast bowlers zaks ishant are all biting ground? I see another munaf patel in sudip tyagi?
I am surprised the way these youngsters instead of making the ball talk are indulging in these nonsense statements!! as if the aussies will fear his speed and surrender meakly!! they should first of all reject such an interview and clearly stay out of MEDIA GLARE!! i hope this guy will learn fast and become more professional!!

What else do u expect him to say whe he is interviewed? Whatever he says u guys would criticise him. Again, if u come into the limelight and media wants an interview, would u say i wdn't give an interview? It would only give an impression that he is arrogant and u guys would again criticise him. Don't write something for the sake writing something!

I was following Sudeep Tyagi's performance, and kinda hoped if would be selected....his performance in the emerging player's tournament where he took lot of wickets (though a bit expensive) made me sit up and follow his performance ever since...and of cource his man-of-the-match performance in the Challenger Trophy finals was very encouraging. Hope he sticks around for some time, and the selectors/BCCI take good care f him (and not make him play all and sundry games)...unlike Ishat. Fast bowlers need special care.
