I see that you are very particular about where your money comes from... :)

Did you stop watching matches involving Australia, or you are still providing your money to those guys?.... :)

No one will bid for him
by Nikhil on Oct 20, 2009 04:14 PM

I doubt whether he will get a bidding. Even if he gets then jaipur will do at 0.1m dollar or less. He wanted his base price to be 1 m last year. He backed out - bocoz of fear that he may be getting less as in case of Ponting who got less than Ishant sharma.

We all should forget cricket
by Michael DSa on Oct 20, 2009 03:17 PM  | Hide replies

IPL is going strong because of fools like us... we watch...they make money...Indian cricketers make huge money. Instead of stupid cricket India & Indians should support football/Tennis/Boxing/Swimming/hockey etc these are the events not won by chance ... no edges can get these players out or no wonder ball can get them bowled. These type of sport is played on 100% power and performance basis and not on chance - BALLA (BAT) CHALLA TO SAB TAK CHALLA - HANIM TO ....

you are wrong. aus media channel 10 paid 100million for broadcasting 10 years in aus and players are not getting money for free. team owner put money on their head and the player play for team and get paid. noone is working for free, it is pure business

Strange but true.
by Ramdas Nayak on Oct 20, 2009 02:45 PM  | Hide replies

It is strange that while players from other countries playing in IPL have immensely been benefited by experience, except serious injuries to a few of them, none of the Indian cricketers seem to have been benefited (I am not considering the money part) or gained anything from IPL. We lost Sehwag and Zahir due to IPL whereas Dilshan and Nannes got tremendous boost in form. We were saying that India has fantastic bench strength to boast but now bench is empty with future look very bleak. Bowlers like Munaf are recalled again and again whereas this bowler except against Indian opponents has not done anything worthwhile.Munaf would donate more runs on the field as fielder when he is not bowling. Even if one run is required for victory you can not bet on Munaf. Irfan Pathan as an alrounder should have been selected in place of Munaf.

Dude, we have batting bench strength. It is our bowling bench that is a little weak. Munaf is a disciplined bowler but has little variation and hence could be taken to cleaners during his second spell by good attacking batsmen. Pathan gets hit like hell as well unless the ball swings.

Munaf is seleced because India need s quality bowler and not an allrounder. So lets wait and watch what progress Munaf has made as far as his feilding is concerned. As a bowler is better then RP or Irfan or Shreeshant or Praveen. He is a poor chap man - nobody will bring him out of any love except performance

If you really see , only foreign players have performed really well. Indian players have been found wanting in many areas

No, he is very smart. Aus have not won only this format of the game and he is the captain of theier national t20 team. He would definitely want to get some expertise in order to help his country conquer only this remaining format of the game that they have not mastered. Aussies do not do or say without any reason. They are damn cunning. it is only india whic is looking stupid. With so much of t2o being played in india, they are allowing other teams to understand better the conditiions in india so that they can be used for future tours. Poor India ! we think that we are doing a great favour to the world by bringing T20. Anyway India can never be true masters of any game.

absurd. You are putting way too much into aussie heads. They are cunning allright. But he needs money and also experience. There are T20 championships in aussie land. He could play there as well and their teams are pretty good like we see in the champions T20.
