Dhoni is spent out
by Crick fan on Oct 19, 2009 06:00 AM  | Hide replies

Its shame that the player at his age has become so conservative! He came in like fire hitting sixers at will. But past one- two year he has settled to subdued batting. He wants his seniors to score at faster rates, where he can merrily score a fifty at a rate of 66/100 balls. Whats big deal if he is no 1 in ICC rankng?? It comes at an expense.
Last few games we found him struggling to hit a six. He is approching where he would even struggle to hit fours. Even players more senior to him are sorting their game and showing aggression- Yuvraj, Afridi, Dilshan, Raina, Smith, Malik, Hussey, Ponting, etc, but our guy is slowing at concerning rate. His Keeping no more as good as it used to be. May be he needs to rest for a while.

change the captain
by sitansu padhi on Oct 15, 2009 08:15 PM  | Hide replies

make zaheer khan captain and harbhajan singh vice captain with powers to slap players who donot perform well on a particular day. dont make a batsman or a wicketkeeper the captain for long time. for one dayers dont take seniors like sachin, rahul or anybody else. we have to look for the future. present losses definitely may hurt us. but performances will improve. take seniors in test matches only. pleae welcome sourabh to ignite the team. after his farewel the team has lost all charm. let sourabh, sachin and rahul leave the team same time, that also while playing test matches. these superheroes cannot be replaced by any one, that everyone knows and agrees.

so you want india to play like they did in the 90s under azhar? dude, I can assure you that the people who watched cricket in the 90s will agree with me that it was the worst decade for Indian cricket.

what was the problem in 90's?india won lot of matches in india, ..lost as usual, remember that time, world cricket was especially autralia was more powerful..current indiam cricket is a feeble shadow of 90's team.

Drop Them !

There is a news that Munaf Patel may come in the team.Surprising !
A few days back in the Challengers Trophy, Ishant Sharma and Munaf Patel could not even prevent the last pair of batsmen to score 22 runs in 18 balls ,that is, in 3 overs.
Sudeep Tyagi & Ashok Dinda were playing,9 wickets had fallen of Indian Blues led by Dhoni but these so called great ballers could not either bowl the last men out or restrict them not to sore.
What can they do if in the same ball to run situation , batsmen are any great to good or even average ones batting in the international matches.
They have earned plenty of money and so their focus has chaged.
Rest Ishant Sharma for few months and let him introspect what is going wrong with this one time excellent baller.
Munaf can not learn so better he plays any other game.Only wickets in domestic matches do not speak of one's quality.
Sudeep Tyagi looks good.
R.P.Singh should never be brought back.He has no ability except sheer luck.
Thanks
O.P.Singh

Nehra comeback
by nagesh anchan on Oct 15, 2009 06:21 PM  | Hide replies

You know how Nehra made an entry into the India Team, it is was IPL and Dhoni wants IPL performance not to be considered for getting entry into the India Team.
How mean, just because he has made a platform in the Indian team he should not build barriers for others

when india wins, wins by game plan of dhoni and performance of the players. when india looses, looses due to arrogance of dhoni and nonperformance of the team.
