Yes you are hard worker

You worked even harder to lose.

We saw your hard work in Sri Lanka.

Mr. Younis T-20 is a fluke. Don't be elated.

Sri Lanka showed you your place.

Down with Match-fixing-Shame on Cricket-Shame on Younis Khan. Shame on Pakistan.

Politicians are doing Politics with Cricket, too !!!
by Farhan Rashid on Oct 14, 2009 03:10 PM  | Hide replies

This is very surprising that Politicians are now getting involved in Cricket regularly. Younis Deserved some more time as he was doing good as Captain. I think he had the ability to improve the performance of the team. Let's see what Afridi can now do sitting in this musical chair.

Against ausies how can team be only 6 down and score so few runs in 50 overs. Then game drifted towards ausies until last 10 overs and rana naved and asif turned into galdiators from ordinary men bowling amazingly well. Then yonus introdced ajmal at cruital time over asif. In short the match criss crossed from one to another and then there was a small matter of india qulifying to next stage depending on the result of the game as west indies was bowled out for 120 odd runs. Too good a situation to be just coincidental. Anyone who can apply commensense can deduce something shody is happening as billions are placed on bets every hour of the match. And icng on the cake was it was pakistan team who has there coach murdered playing the make or break game and it was india who could have or havent qualified on the result of the game. India is where billions are placed on bets and pakistan team is where there always is a mystery surrounded. Add 1 1 and you will understand what is happening. And my personel openion is the ex match fixers like azhar, jadeja etc should be prisoned for 15 yrs at least as cricket is a religion in india and it is indian team that is playing not azhar XI or vijay mallyas banglore RC. Match fixing is betraying the millions of nation fans. Should be punished to the maximum. Period...

I agree with you Rahul. The format of these tournaments are such that weak teams like pakistan are fixing the matches.

Even australia is equally responsible and BCCI should take up the case with ICC.

lose or win it is always part of agame...why u r not blaming dhoni and his men about losing to pakistan..aur using dhoni as a bowler against westindies..i=was that a fun..it is international level my dear and not afun...

I will agree with Vikas on this and we should be blammed ourselves. Doni is the main culprit for this as didn't plan the fielding well, didn't use the bowler well and didn't bat well. total failure and he is responsible all the matches which we lost recently....

Mr. Kaushik are you a kid. He is talking about match-fixing. Not about India. This match-fixing is a shame on cricket. Do you realize the seriousness of charges?

Dont be a quitter Younis
by ankit Relan on Oct 14, 2009 02:05 PM  | Hide replies

I am a maniac when it comes to following cricket especially the Indian Team. Although i have my inclination towards my country but that does not stop me from being rational enough and honest enough about calling a Spade a Spade.

I have huge respect for Younis Khan and many cricketers from Pakistan who have immense talent but are being time and again let down by internal matters (of team, PCB and also their country)

I think Pakistan team has shown real character in last few months and tightened their performance a lot. As about this Allegation Hearing, i feel its a given in our part of the world (Asian administrator's mentality being referred to on a general level) to expect the unexpectedly weird behaviour from certain decision making authorities (probably a people-pleasing strategy that!)

Younis, being a LEADER, needs to stand up, ACT (and continue with tireless efforts towards succeeding) and shut his mouth up for the time being and stop getting distracted - JUST DO YOUR JOB and NOT TALK ABOUT IT - good deeds are always followed by good result and once ppl see result he'll stand justified automatically

Resignation is a sign of Victimspeak and lack of sense of responsibility i feel - Mard ban yaar .. jisne jo bolna hai bolne dey .. u do ur work to the best of ur ability - let the losers criticise/question u - y do u bother to get Bothered so easily ??

anyways, just a personal opinion. I hope i made some sense
cheers

Well said bro. Yonis is a good guy very down to earth and extremely emotional. Gives his 100% on the field, wants his home team to do well but clueless when its time to play politics. I think that’s where he struggles. Look at the guys like Shoaib Malik who are perfect example he really should be in politics. Pak has done some amazing work post SL series at their home. They were good in SL though they lost the ODI’s but overall performance was up to the mark. They have got one of the best bowling attack in the world. Batting was never their strongest point but the arrival of the newer guys especially umar akmal has done wonders for the batting.

IMO, he should try and learn to let things go and just be thick skinned if he wants to carry on leading a Pakistan team.

PCB is currupt

Pakistan is an un-predictable cricket team. Sometimes they play like world beater sometimes they even loss to Ireland. Pakistan has in my opinion has biggest pool of talented crickters in their country more than that of India. They are dropping player in the calibre of Shoaib Akhtar, Abdul Razzak, Salman Butt, Asim, They have a very good pool of fast bowlers. But all of them are inconsistent. I dont think they have any passion for their country. We in India find it difficult to get a good fast bowler they got bench strengh of more than 10 fast bowlers with them. In spin department also they have found Saeed Ajmal, we have never heard the name of him up to 20-20 world cup. Now they have very good batsman U.Akmal. So they have talent in plenty but all of them or irresponsible & In-dicipline persons. They are truly un-predicable side.

Pakistan Cricket will never improve if they keep doing this.....Younis was on his way to become an Imran and how we see this......PCB is the cause for Paki Cricket downfall after 1992.
