DC did not make a disastrous start. They lost the first match on the last ball. Any team can lose on a day in T20 cricket. I wouldnt be surprised if NSW or Victoria teams end up losing all their remaining games. Such is the unpredictable nature of this format.
IPL teams all money only, no attachement to the club, no coordination/understanding, bonding between the team members. They just play together for 1 month in a year. Cricket is a team play where even with mediocre players a team can win if it knows exactly its strengths and weaknesses and play accordingly. The problem with IPL teams is that they dont know themselves, how can you expect them to know other's and win the games.
Every game is not just a slam-bang approach, you can win a few games by this approach, but cannot go very far.

I totally agree with you Mr. Sharma.
Nowadays cricket is all about Money. But at the same time its a very good platform for the Youngsters who are really capable but do not get a chance to prove their capabilities. IPl is like a Domestic yet a International Tournament.
But for Seniors its just Money making machine, no matter you and your team wins or not.
