Even though DC lost i think laxman should be congratulated. he played really good using shots which he never played before. A batsman using shots which he is familiar with is nothing new, but playing shots which are completely against your natural game is quite difficult and rare.
This only shows that no matter how many new age players come the truly great senior players like sachin, laxman, dravid, kumble can never be outshone. They have time and again showed to be innovative.
