Champions League - a big Bore
by abdul nazeer on Oct 11, 2009 11:33 AM  | Hide replies

I dont watch champions league unless I have no good programs on the other channels. So I have made it the last priority, although i was keen on knowing the results of challenger series between India Red, green & blue. I think Star Sports broadcasting perfomance is little mediocre, the cameras are not focussing the subject when it has to be. One example is, when it was raining heavily and there was a D/L method discussion, the cameras were focussing on some other subject, when i really wanted to know whats happening in the ground, is it raining etc. Too much cricket is a big nonsense, i wish that all the ipl teams get eliminated.

apart from what you said, it is too much commercialisation of cricket that is disgusting. The game is no more absorbing. It is tennis or football that rakes up the interest to watch as they are real power games

You can turn on tv anytime and you will find a cricket match. So its not worth watching now.

1) IPL
2) Champions League
3) RunnersUp league
4) Losers Leage
5) Gali Cricket
6) Home Cricket
7) Hand cricket (Thanks to Guru Gary)
8) Faltu Leage
9) No money league
10) Fix match leage (Thans to pak)

The Real State of Indian Cricket
by Ganesh Narasimhan on Oct 11, 2009 11:02 AM  | Hide replies

Hi
Some how i feel this is Real state of indian cricket compared to South Africa or Australia. They don't have any foreign Player & No knowledge of Indian Conditons for most of the players to0 , but still they are able to beat inidan teams in Indian Conditions. That is their bench strength.

The real skill and talen are sacrifised for speed at which you score the runs. The game lost its sheen and the telecasting is totally replete with commercial ads

Chickens league promoted by lousy Lalit due to utter greed
by Mahakavi jollydoss on Oct 11, 2009 10:50 AM  | Hide replies

Bunch of boring cricketers playing matches that are a torture to watch, Lousy Lalit just hogging the limelight with the idea he stole from Indian Cricket League, and greed has reduced cricket to the level of prostitution.

IPL teams - the real test
by Arun on Oct 11, 2009 08:56 AM

This is the real test for the IPL teams. When they play against each other, they dont feel the heat. But the real test comes now, when they play against the champions of the other countries, their real talent comes out. All IPL teams crushed to defeat in their first round.
