Pakistan players not involved in match-fixing: Gambhir
by Seethamraju Dasaradhi on Oct 07, 2009 07:08 PM

Please do not make such statements relating to such sensitive issues. Gambhir, would deliver the same at the inquiry committee in Pak or in ICC? What proofs do you have and how do you "know" what had happened. Could this be the reason for your failures, off late? Please master your game and bring laurels to India than poking into affairs of some one else.

Gone are the days...
by pseudoindianmedia on Oct 07, 2009 06:37 PM

First class cricket First class players. Players who played for their country and honour. Do we see anything like that now. Modis and Pawars have brought cricket to the doorstep of bookies to earn cookies. Wheres the zeal when a player playin for his own country he is injured burnt out playing the cashmaking matches and nothing is left in his body to give for the country. They are so busy managing their ADS and Money which will put any corporate to shame - they have Finance Manager, Marketing Manager and a General Manager too. The whole year cricket has become a carnival an exhibhition of sorts. It has gone too far now reaching point of no return.

Ever heard the name Cronje?
by kiran kumar on Oct 07, 2009 05:05 PM  | Hide replies

Mr Gauti, have you ever heard the Name Hansie Cronje? How his career ended? What he confessed?

Atleast heard about Mr. Md. Azheruddin? He was the most successful Indian Captain when he was thrown out of the squad?

Do you know how India lost to WestIndies on 30th October 1994 in Kanpur?

It is like arguing that something does not exist if you are not aware of it.

Croje said a bookie contacted him for losing a match but SA won that match and Gibbs scored century in that match. Gibbs could get the money if he got out under 20 but he didn't do it.

Md azhar and cronje have been proven guilty
Shane warne and Mark waugh named Salim Malik for approaching him to tank matches
Manoj Prabhakar named Kapil Dev
Manoj and Nayan Mongia played out last 2 overs and did not try chasing the required runs. A clean example of a match getting fixed,
India had won the match in sharjah over Pak, by run rate due to Bad Light But were made to play in Dark
Then in one match there was Hat Trick of LBW by aaquib Javed, all of of them were outside line of off stump and that too on front foot
India could never defeat Pakistan in Sharjah for obvious reasons

There r numerous and numerous examples of recorded conversation betwn these so called proffessional players and bookies
Javed Miandad son is married to Dawood daughter....How come? Did they go in the same college???.

The country in question is the hole land for people like AQ Khan who did not hesitate sharing designs of Neclear bombs to countries like N.Korea in exchange of money (as little as 20 Mn USD)

And I will not be surprised if you are forced to involve in such stuff after receiving a call from D Company

A cricket match can't be fixed because it's a team game.

Indian media is not able to digest defeat so they are crying rubbish. Because of one loss in CT they are trying to projecting that Indian team has become weaker. Our so called expert like R.Shastri wants 10 changes in the team. Just imagine if South Africa and Srilanka follow his advise, they have to change whole team because their team lost 2 matches in CT.

Anurag u r a liar
Ravi Shastri suggested bigger pool of player ie. 10 More players and not 10 changes
It would have definitely helped when our main players yuvraj gambhir sehwag zaheer khan were reported injured and latter Sachin too.
A bigger pool always helps specially in modern era where so much cricket is played with passion, and there are bound to be injuries
R Shastri is not so called expert....He is an expert in cricket.
And u r an expert liar

MATCH FIXING TAMASHA FOR INDIAN FANS
by Srinivasan Renganathan on Oct 07, 2009 04:29 PM  | Hide replies

Pakistan deliberately played slowly and lost the match against Australia, so as to prevent India from reaching the Semi-Finals.
As for the Semi-finals against New Zeland, nothing was fixed.
In order to cover up the deliberate loss against Australia, Pakistani's are acting as if both the matches are fixed.

The truth is PAKISTAN DELIBERATELY LOST THE MATCH AGAINST AUSTRALIA ONLY TO KEEP INDIA OUT.

The entire drama is to fool the Indian supporters. Note that this subject will be washed away within a week.

My friend why do you blame others for your own follies. We got thrashed by Pakistan and was nearly hammered by the Aussies. No point in blaming others for our losses.
Please ask our players to concentrate on the game and stop all "TALL TALKS" and reduce the Ad's
