Way to win
by Rajkumar Bhardwaj on Nov 10, 2009 05:20 PM

What indians do:
make game plan
make gameplans
make some more game plans

what indians should do
play as per the situation at hand

while giving target
1.openers should ensure a start of 70-80 runs in 15Overs
2. middle order should keep the score at 4 runs per over till 40 overs
3. take batting power play in anywhere between 35 to 40 over
4. Score atleast 100 runs in final 10 overs

while chasing target
1. keep the scoring rate as near to required rate as possible
2. middle order should not panic
3. sachin should be specific as to what his role is going to be that is slam-bang or supportive and should stick to it rather than capitulating under pressure that is ridiculous after having played for 20 years and yet panicking like a youngster in the face of adversity
4. dhoni should try and keep himself as low the order as possible so that he can control the players batting after slot no. 6

Any way the indian team shall do only what it can do that is in trying to make the situation interesting they end up on the losing side too often for the comfort of die-hard passionists.

work on battting at last moment
by Guest on Nov 10, 2009 03:02 PM  | Hide replies

the main draw back of indian team is.. they dnt know to take the right decision at the precious moment..india should work on batting at the last moment.. last order batsman doesn't know the mantra to handle the game... they should interact each other and have to set a winning strategy.. instead of getting runout they could go for a shot which may be help to get some runs to the team...
we have lost match by single digit numbers... beacuse of poor running between the wicket or we can say unproper chemistry between the batsman... coach has to work on these aspects.. lets hope best for the final match....

Sehvag
Gambhir
Sachin
Rohit
Dhoni
Yuvraj
Robin/Raina
Irfan
Harbhajan
Zaheer
Srisanth

The re is no place for immatures like..

Nehra (he ruined three matches by trying to hit six when all he need to do is get a single and give strike to Praveen).

Jadeja (does he really deserve a place in National team? is he ready yet to represent a billion people's dream team? we lost a important t20 beause of him, he is back to ODI's right away and he cost us two more)

Ishant (Pure vaste in T20s and ODI's)

Srisanth goes to that cat but for me he atleast looks like a fast bowler and india really need one.

If India loose top 3 wickets early Sachin and Dhoni will Score like 30 of 70...and no one left later to score other than Irfan...jadeja will pissoff and get run out or somethig...he got like 50 of 100 with two life's even after pitch is eased...praveen showed how to Bat.

interesting to see you got 5 genuine bowlers and you still going with jadeja leaving Robin, Rohit etc..

Team combination and experience player take the responsibilities
by Ajeet Kumar on Nov 08, 2009 03:49 PM  | Hide replies

Team combination and experience player take the responsibilities
Actually Indian team is very good team. But the combination of players, the performance of bowlers and the thinking of their self are very bad.
1.      Indian bowlers have not any plan, what I do against any batsman. They know only throw the bowls.
2.      Indian batsman never thinks that we have to play 50 over, especially Virendra Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh.
3.      The combination of Indian team is very bad and this is depend on the captain
4.      Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni always comes at no. 5 or 6. While Dhoni has capacity to play 50 over.
5.      Actually Indian team has younger and experience players but the experience players does not give well platform to the younger so younger become fail. And they lost their courage.
6.      If may I choose the player and the combination of the Indian team….
1.      VIRENDRA SEHWAG
2.      SACHIN TENDULKAR
3.      MAHENDRA SINGH DHONI
4.      YUVRAJ SINGH (CAPTAIN)
5.      SURESH RAINA (VICE CAPTAIN)
6.      ROHIT SARMA
7.      YUSUF PATHAN
8.      RAVINDRA JADEJA
9.      ZAHEER KHAN
10.      SHRI SANTH
11.      ISHANT SHARMA

OTHER: SUBSITUTE…..
1.      GAUTAM GAMBHIR (OPENER)
2.      VIRAT KOHLY (MIDDLE ORDER)
3.      PARTHIV PATEL (WICKET KEEPER)
4.      HERBHAJAN SINGH (SPINNER)
5.      L. BALAJI (FAST BOWLER)

Every player should have maximum 1 series to prove their self, if their performance not well and team lose the series then the match fees should be cut their off. And for the new series, should be selected new play
