Ishant came with a promise.. fizzled out soon. He is a waste.
Coach Prasad was never an impressive bowler himself.
India should use the vast experiences of Kapil Dev, Manoj Prabhakar(yorkers and reverse swings), Anil Kumble, Bedi to keep visiting and advicing the team.
For fielding Azhar could advice the team. I dont think Robin singh is putting good effort.
Bowling is toothless.
You cant be number 1 team for nothing, you should be the best in all three aspects.
Lee can target 400 wickets, ponting can target 50 centuries in tests... If our Sachin plays well and make records, our Indians will blame him for nothing..... Poor Sachin ..... you born in India...!!

Sachin is super lucky to be born in India where people call him a 'god'. Had he been in other strong teams like SA or Oz, he'd have been dropped quite a few times. Remember he had some lean patches in his great career. he is and will always be one of the best ever but he is no god to people outside India. Ask anyone outside India how Sachin is as a cricketer. they wud probably say 'one of the best'. But never 'the greatest or best ever'. Ponting is great, Sachin is great, Lara was great, Dravid is great, Kallis is great. tendulkar isn't above other batsmen I've mentioned except in the ODIs. He's the best ever in the 50 over match.

Dear Manishji, Sachin is the greatest cricketer on the planet for you! that's good. But most people would not agree with you. But then he is your god. He currently is as good as Rohit Sharma in batting.

no wonder u are telling this. ure name suggests it all... It was just ponting or there are more names? wht abt Gilchrist, Hayden, the local teashop guy etc..? Go home and ask... he he :-p
Ishant is the best young bowler in the world right now and he's around 20. If fit, he'll have around 12-13 years of cricket, and he should easily break all records. He's ina form slump right now, but every bowler goes through this. I am sure he'll come out of this and give the Aussies nightmares in the 7 match odi series.

He is derived by ads & not paying attention on improvement of his bowling, his bowling in icc ct was poor & thirdclass.

Ishant is a good promising bowler but not as good a bowler as the media and fans have made him out to be. I had a good laugh when the media and many fans said he is one of the best fast bowlers in the bowler. He's very good. I admit that. But no, he's not as good as Dale Steyn or Shane Bond or Johnson. When on song Steyn can run through any batting line-up (India and Australia for instance). At his best, Steyn can go on to take 7-8 wickets in an innings. Inshant at his best can take 5 wickets once in a blue moon. He's not bad, but not great either. He needs to work hard on his fitness and his pace and also line and length to be a great bowler that he has the potential to be.
India should have a good coach. Manoj Prabhakar has the reverse swing.Let Selectors or BCCI give a chance to Manoj Prabhakar for a year or two and India will develop a good and able bowlers.

It does not mean that Good bowlers can only make as good coaches. This is wrong. Prasad has done an excellent job for the past 2 years. We should not have the loss in champions trophy only in our mind. Our team has achieved more in last 2 years.
John wright(who is not a great player) has been our coach earlier, in which he has performed quite good.

manoj Prabhakar is excellent with reverse swing during india's tour of pakistan during 1989-90 series
Brett Lee is one of those bowlers who can follow in the footsteps of Akram, another great bowler if the game. I'm glad to see his pace hasn't really gone down yet even after playing for over 5 years. I wish Indian bowlers could be this fit.

Indian bowelers can be fit if they pay attention on fitness rather than advertising & product promotions.
