Mishra Is being too smart on his comments

I do not know how easily these people get away by talking like this. How can Mishra say they batted well , when Ishanth and RP bowling to the BAT of the opposition and kept on smiling at those boundaries. It Is bad bowling unless he accepts it , chances of growing in cricket is not possible.

Why should Ishant/RP/Praveen/Bhajji shiuld worry.
After all they are good friends of dhoni.
Alternate like Sreeshant/Munaf/Balazi/Kulkarni/Powar will never get chance as long as dhoni is captain. He is a regional & political captain. Just wins few matches as lucky to have some great match winners like sachin, sehwag, dravid, zaheer etc & his luck.

Hmmm...this guy hasnt even made his place certain in the team and he has already started talking against the captain.
He has to be a bit careful what he says to the media as they can always twist his words out of context and make it sound as if he said something entirely different.

Not just Dhoni but everybody else out there saying the same that Bowling let us down. It was open for everyone to see during the Pak game, how the ball was spread around.

So just be quite Mishra, or you wll go on Harbhajan way.. Control your mouth..

I agree but no team scored 300 the way Pak did. At one stage, Malik had 30 odd runs in 76 balls and when he got done he scored over 100 runs with about 105 strike rate.

Our Bowling was for every one to see with the barrage of short and wide. However, Nehra was the exception, and Nehra proved that better control on the bowl should have restricted Pak to much lower total..

Yep exactly, that was my point that our bowling let us down.. Regradless how set the batsman is, it's not that easy to score hundred run in 10 overs right in the middle of the inning without power play and Pak did that against us..

Bhajji just helped us win the final in the tri series against Sri Lanka. Let's pip up our hopes on him for some more time.

Add to that the next series we have is a 7 match ODI series against Australia. And Harbhajan is always a good asset against the Aussies.

Well, you do have a point. He can be given a break for sometime. In that case we'll be able to accommodate a batting all rounder like Yousuf Pathan.

What the F**k !
by naveen dhanerwal on Oct 04, 2009 06:51 PM  | Hide replies

What is he trying to say by sayig "Bowling to the likes of Ponting and Hussey is a tough task"? Then who would he be like to bowl, a GALLI cricketer, who just have started to swing a bat? An international cricketer must not give excuses like that. Everybody knows that Indian bowling was terrible in both the matches, except WI who was playing with their no-2 team! Though, our batsmen also failed againt Pak and they didn't get a chance against Aussies, but if you let your rivals post a score over 300, it's always going to be a tough task....
Misra, if you fears bowling against these kinds of batsmen then quit playing cricket, it's the right time for you!
