SA & Pak jokers
by ganessin virappin on Oct 05, 2009 05:18 AM  | Hide replies

SA and Pak become jokers in front world cricket fans for their loud talk. They had talked as if they had already won the Champions Trophy. It should be a lesson for others to talk less and concentrate on the play. Just play to your potential and take win or loss equally. A loss in cricket is not the end of the world.

buddy, you forgot to include the original loud-mouths who also were sent back packing before the semis ?
As for aussie's unbeaten records you are going to see "the law of averages" take effect in the finals.

No one is exclusion here even if it is Aussies. Let them play without making noise. Aussies are consistent. But that does not qualify them to talk louder.

I agree, the Kiwis will take an edge over Australia, though everyones talking about their form and average, Daniel Vettori will lead them to victory!

The pakis have been rightly served
by Ashish Kumar on Oct 04, 2009 09:42 PM  | Hide replies

The Pkis have been rightly served. Their captain deliberately played with the tactics of winning against the Australians with a small margin even by risking losing so that India gets eliminated. If they had not done that and had beaten the Aussies which they was within their reach in those conditions, they would have played a weaker team in England and would have advanced to final match. You dig a pit for others and then yourself fall into it.

Gone are the days where CRICKET was played for the glory of the nation. Now it is all money, betting, scams, scandals, controversies etc. When it is time to play for the country they are injured where when they play for their club they for aboyt all injuries, body language changes and so on...
