even though he doesnt have these records... like the fastest 50 , 100, 150, in odi or the highest score in odi or the best average or strike rate in odi or test. nor has the highest number of 150 score or 200 score not even a single triple century nor the highest run in tests. but will surly be the first to return to the dressing room when India chase big scores or play important matches. also the fastest to return to dressing room when batting on fast , seaming or spinner friendly tracks. but has the highest avaerage against bangladesh, zim,ken put together .... wow what a big achievement. never takes risk but will force youngsters to take risk..hasnt spotted even a single player nor recomended any talented players for our team.will not take responsiblty and it showed in his captancy....but sachin is the greatest player on earth

You are absolutely wrong and as I think that you dont have much knowledge of cricket. Sachin is best in playing in all forms of cricket and all types of conditions including the pitch condition. He always forms the base for the team to score. This is almost not possible for any batsman to bat the 1st over to the end of the match. It happens on very few occasions during the entire career of any player. Tell me any of the batsman who remains notout till the country wins the match for more than 5 times.

Yes,sachin is greatest batsman on earth....but certainly not greatest cricketer on earth simply because of his test records where he didnot have many match winning performances he doesnot have the highest no. of MOM and MOS in test... in test in MOM he is way behind and at no. 10 now...kallis has highest no. of MOM,even ponting is ahead of him... even worse his man of the series in test...he is at no. 25 now..
so even though he is greatest batsman on earth....not a greatest cricketer on earth
Without taking credit from Ponting, I would say that The Aussie win yesterday was possible because the English bowling attack was very weak and ordinary. The same Aussies struggled to score 205 against a strong Pak bowling and their middle order is vunerable. I think Pakistan is going to win the CT to make it a double this year after winning the T-20 WC in June and they deserve it also.

U have forgotten that pak had lost that match........net result is whatever be the pakistan bowling,Australia will win this CT too..but for that pakistan have to beat NZ,which might be not possible
