At this age, if Sachin is not fit for long innings and gets injury every now and then he should retire from Interntional cricket No body can afford to carry a dead soldier.

so then what do u have to say about viru and yuvi and zaheer ? injuries are part and parcel of sportsmen and is not a criteria to judge whether they shud retire or not !

Then add sunil gavaskar, gundapa viswanath,kapil dev..they are also good player..they can play good game not continuosly bcoz of body condition..even sunil can score 132 runs & can sit without doing fielding.as if done something which other player can't score.
Must have had memories of 2003 World Cup final when our greats - Srinath, Nehra and Zaheer bowled the Aussies to win and this match was very close but for Pontings mild batting. Sachin must have collapsed as batting second if India has to chase 320 and Sachins goes for 20, many would blame him for the defeat.
