Akram definitely but not Waugh
by Rohit Kumar on Oct 01, 2009 02:17 PM

Wasim Akram was the greatest left arm fast bowler of all time. Steve Waugh was a very good batsman with an excellent captaincy record. But he is not 'Hall of Fame' material by a long shot. But looking at the other people who have been inducted, he deserves a place.

HA Ha Ha, either you were blind or u have no cricket sense. ask anybody who saw that particular match. at least 4/5 of wrong decisions were given by the umpire (possibly jayaprakash). for example The ball missed the bat by 6 inches in daylight, but it was given ct behind. At least you know now that after that match no more host umpires are allowed in tests

Why not Ganguly?

I am an ultimate Sourav fan, and now even more seeing how Dhoni captains. The best Indian captain ever should have been in the Hall of fame. I have not even heard of some of the names mentioned

"I have not even heard of some of the names mentioned"
Reason: when these player used to play on the field, u were not exist in the world. e.g. Victor Thomas Trumper (Born: 2 November 1877 – Died: 28 June 1915)
