the fastest ever bowler is not shooaid, as wht we all think, but it is chris town, and the ball hit the grill of the batsman, and forced him to retire hurt.

So every bowler who hits the grill of a batsman and makes him retired hurt should be declared fastest you say.

they were probably wrong with Chris Town as a short ball can simply not have that sort of pace. Ideally a short ball losses somewhere close to 10% of its speed on account of it hiting the ground early. So the speed gun was probably faulty.

Ishant Sharma is the fastest Indian bowler having recorded a speed of 152.3 kmph in his second delivery of his third over. Running in to save himself from a free-hit against Adam Gilchrist, Ishant fired towards the block hole to register the quickest delivery that put Ashish Nehra’s record of 149.5 kmph during the 2003 World Cup against Zimbabwe into oblivion.

HOW TO WIN THE THIRD TEST IN MUMBAI??
by Crickbufff on Nov 27, 2009 08:47 PM  | Hide replies

Things to do List:
1) Dravid should open with Viru
2) Bring in Badrinath (and not Murli Vijay for heaven's sake) in place of Gautam Gambhir (he is on leave for his sisters wedding)
3) Yuvi and Laxman need to shave off their chest hair (its right upto their necks) and its gross and apish!! Priority!!
4) A-P-P-A-M---C did well today, hope he carries his form and level headedness into mumbai
5) Pitch should ideally suit batsmen for atleast three days!
6) Cut-off scoring opportunities for Dilshan (this is the key) fielding should be spot-on!!
7) Bhajji should be dropped after Mumbai and given a break!! Do'nt take him to Bangladesh plz plz plz!!
