Mumbai fail
by dudeman on Nov 28, 2009 09:01 AM

I hope this time TN teach the mumbai slumbai some lessons by winning against them both in league stage and also in finals if they make it. Mumbai team is overhyped group of oldies who will not retire till included into the team.

this shows that the future players of india are already fixed. bombay being most commercial team whose all players are photogenic, will play 200 odd tests and 1000 odd odis to "break" don bradman's and brian lara's records will gain media coverage from TOI and REDIFF. this is tinted reporting - not yellow but darkest black. this is why even sri lanka has scored two world recording partnership against India, world recording total against India and Pakistan possesses another world recording wicket partnership against India.

They have won it 37 times... and the closest competitors are Karnataka and Delhi which have won it 6 times. When it comes to domestic matches... they are bigger than the Australians.

shabby reporting... need to review the column on punjab winning second consecutive win. recently it was given as TN maul punjab by a inning win. now its reported the other way around. what nonsense.

Punjab got thrashed by TN in its Ranji encounter and you reporter says that Punjab beat TN.
God knows whether you guys do any cross verification of facts before dumping it on the web.

Hey nice to know that you follow the matches closely. And seriously Rediff needs to pull up its socks pants etc!! Also it wouldn't hurt to publish the points table rather giving just the summary. This will further help generate interest in the tournament.

And Mahalingam, Kartik's decision to declare early i think paid off!! What do you say?!

Yes Pavan..I was very confused abt the declaration.Initially Karthick's decision is back fired. But at last it's paid off.

Boy!! It sure feels good to know that there are people who follow domestic games so intently...!! I thought i was the only one. And karnataka is playing good too!!! I want Mumbai to be given a tough fight this time. They have won it 30 times yaar....!!! Next highest is 6 times... each by delhi, karnataka!!! So need other states to challenge Bomabay and also win!!!! :)
