THE MUMBAI TEST WILL BE THE REAL TEST FOR .........
by Ryan Christopher on Nov 27, 2009 08:08 PM  | Hide replies

swing and pace two very difficult things to manange at the same time, and if u manage, then very hard to manange it in the right way, as when u generate more pace, u always sacrifice ur swing, and when u go for more swing, u see ur pace is getting reduced, but with Guys like, Alderman(?), De villiers and even the Great swing bowler of his times, The English opening bowler Graham Dilley , they always maintained their Pace and swing in a real good way, I have to agree that Mr Alderman was the slowest amoungst the above, but he can be addressed as the legend of alltime in swing bowling, now coming to sree, yes after these greats of swing bowling, I see this Block, Sree, is the Genuine Fast Swing bowler of International Cricket after many years. I have to disappoint the views of rajashri banerjee, about getting thumped, because, sree is a bowler who always courageous and ready to give runs, because he make the batsman play more, and many a runs scored in his bowling(if u watch the videos) are either edges or misd hits, no matter the runs, but sree is always a match winner, and no one cankeep a blind eye on it, now if he won the man of the match, it is a matter of discussion too, because there been batsmen with big tonns, and bowlers too, but he prooved to be the best amoung em, because his achievement of 5 wickets in the first innings given India a clear upperhand and the achievement of wickets were not been in a very bowler friendly(fast) turf. let him move on. happy time all.

Superb one !! But Theres no point in pointing out Rajshree banerjee's pathetic comments that involves personal grudge and Zonal partiality . Cuz you have made such a fantastic description about it and made it clear to all those people who doesnt even know the basics of cricket.

Today Indian performance is really good. This is called the team spirit. If everybody can play we can easy win the match. This is called team work and hard work. We should have good bowlers as well. I do agree we have good bowlers. if we have more all orders. It will help for us anyway good job.

Sresaanth

Its good to see sresaanth back in rhythm. 2day he was looking very effective. he has bowl some unplayable deliveries. the ball in which he got the wicket of Rangana Herath was almost unplayable. he also bowled a very very good inswing yorker to the Prasanna Jayawardene. That delivery reminds me of pakistan's great Waqar Younis. Also the ball at which he got the wicket of Dilshan (in 2nd inning) was also a brilliant delivery. If he continues to bowl in this manner then he will definitely secure his place in the test team.

The main problem with sreesaanth is his inconsistency. he bowl 4 goods balls iin a over but in between the over he bowl one or two foolish (loose) deliveries that cost him runs, breaks his rhythm and remove the pressure from the batsman.

the main thing sresaanth has to do is to avoid bowling loose deliveries. He also need to improve his concentration and his on-field and off-field behaviour.

sresaanth is best suited for test matches. In order to get back into the ODI team he has to do lot of hardwork and try to reduce his economy rate.

True. In ODI he needs to be more consistent and careful. But no doubt about his talent and this clearly an exceptional performance in a slow pitch under great pressure to perform. Kudos to Srikanth
