Aaquib Jaaved,I recall, was a deadly bowler particularly against India & that too in Sharjah. His hat-trick of LBWs(I think it was of Shastri,Manjrekar & Tendulkar) remains etched in mind to this day

You are right Amit. I remember that match as well, and the decisions were atrocious. One of the reasons (biased umpires, crowds and ASif Iqbals pro pak management of Sharjah tournaments) that BCCI decided to do away with the Sharjah circus.
I also remember Aaquib javed acting up after he was gifted the hat trick..and removed his shoes and threw it around the ground as if suddenly his shoes were bothering him...much like a child throwing tantrums to attract the captains attention! he couldnt handle the sudden success, and was emotionally not able to live up to expectations.

He bowled very well in 1992 WCUP both in AUS and NZL,Aaqib was not express like Waqar so his bowling faded as years passed by,but was a very good match winner in his prime. He took 5 wickets in the Match against India in Chennai where Anwar scored 194
