He is a disgrace to India & Indian Muslims. there maybe many corrupt politician or players but there was no reason for him to be involved in match fixing. Indian people trusted him so much.

He was my best.
The present day record holders might not have those titles if Azharuddin was still wearing the cap for India. He was already holding some records at the time he left the scene.

We love Azhar but hate Congress
by mohan on Nov 24, 2009 05:49 AM  | Hide replies

Azhar's batting will always be missed.
He had a rare kind of class and elegance.

Just wished he had not joined congress to
get this so-called ban lifted. Just wished he
cleared his name through courts.

Once again, Azhar, your cricket will be remembered, no matter what.

Ajju should apologise
by Md Naimulla on Nov 22, 2009 08:31 PM  | Hide replies

The life ban should be lifted only on the condition that Azhar apologises to the whole nation for accusing of being targeted on account of being a minority.(I was a die hard fan of Azhar but was shattered after i read this statement in the newspapers). This way he can get some reprieve from the people who loved and adored him so much during his playing days. And then he can announce an official retirement. Ending his career at 99 Tests is what he deserves and he has to live with it for the rest of his life.
