Saaar agarkar the mere sight of you still sends the shiver down of spines of international players from great cricketing nations of zimbabwe, bermuda and bangladesh..
Agarkar's bowling was pathetic and always proved to be costly. He's struggling to get wicket against team like HP, Orissa & Punjab in league of Ranji, How can one imagine him to bowl well in highest level of game i.e international level.
Its time for him to retire and enjoy the sports quota of this country for luckily able to played for this nation.
Mr Agarkar plz allow younster to bowl and take wickets, you don't have strength to bowl even 125 km/hr.

In the recent Irani match he was bowling regularly ABOVE 140 kmph . He bowled very few overs in the rain affected Orissa match and got 4 in the match against punjab . You may not like him ; many don't ' but that doesn't mean you have to keep making baseless comments about him .

Mr. Rocky, Mumbai came from behind to defeat HImachal, whereas Tamilnadu from the start of the match had upper hand. Now who ever following the ranji trophy news would be surprised to see that Mumbai had won the match when they were on the verge of a loss to minnows. Thats why its headlines, and moreover Mumbai is the ranji champions and they deserve to be in Headlines.
Mumbai are current champions of Ranji and they will get headlines. It is the same everywhere and every sport. If in case of football, would the headlines be about ManU winning or losing or would it be Everton beat Sunderland ???
I wonder why it is always Mumbai or Delhi team that deserve headlines? Please remember we are in India and try give a general heading. Infact, today TamilNadu got 6 points by defeating Punjab and they top the Ranji group - to be fair they ought to be credited in the headlines. Please stop criticising as I am not from South India. I just felt the standard of Indian reporters is way below par the international standard.

Punjab is a mediocre team. So no mention of a strong team beating a weak team as headlines. Whereas Mumbai and HP are both srong teams and so a equally contested match, triggers more interest.

You do have a point. But since Mumbai are the defending champions they do deserve the headline. Also if you look at the comeback Mumbai made in the match it did deserve the headline.
PS: I am from Mumbai, so I guess I am a little biased.
Why is it always about Mumbai...It is not the only state in India...When you publish something give equal importance to all states but looks like rediff celebrates only if Mumbai wins.....Title should be more common when you are publishing news about all the states

yes becoz Rediff is based in Bombay...and Bombay is commercial capital of India and it deserves better treatment than rest of the India..stop crying and make another Bombay in your state establish another rediff in tht state and then make tht rediff to give importance to the Bombay u made in ur state..

Agarkar Better option :) :) :) What a joke. The day from where Agarkar started bowling straight and left away his original swing bowling,he started becoming more expensive and didnt get wickets. And about batting, before being out from Indian team, whenever he used to come to bat,the bowler always had a chance to go for a hattrick.
