Shame Rediffmail, there are thousand of problems facing common man in this nation. Dont waste ur time on this stupid things. Sachin's records are his personal and nothing has to to with country. In his 20 years of playing he could never bring World Cup to India. So what is the big thing in it. He was permitted to play even when he was not making any runs for the team(not country).

Boy! why do we live? The purpose of your doing anything is to keep you and your people happy and joy. The old lady knows this better than you after a long living. Share your joy with others. Celebrate others success. your world be differrent. Don't be so serious and harsh because you will not be able to bear when others are equally harsh on you.

You are perfectly right sagar. Just beacause of sachins brilliance we could atleast come to semi finals in 96 and finals in 2003 both occassions he was the highest scorer among all teams.With little bit of extra support from his team members we could ahve won atleast one world cup! whoever criticises sachin lack cricketing wisdom.
I as an small an true die heart fan, follower & the person who always look towards Sachin as an elder brother will only like to say, that he deserves everything for what he is and will be. No doubts that he becomes an member of every sports loving people all across the globe. He is the real person who has kept Cricket the fame that it deserves to be known as Gentlemen game. All towards his journey he has followed the necessary ethics that can take him closer to what he is today. I will ask for Almight GOD blessings to always shower on him as an human being. Not only cricket is where I want to see him good, but in each an every moments of his life.... Can stop writing on a legend but can't stop writing on a human being. Truly deserves to be....... love to write something positive on Sachin.
It is very irritating to see some of the msgs. in these. let us maintain some dignity when we speak about great sportsmen like sachinji and in general and give respect to elderly people. one should not exhibit his real colour and stoop to such a low calibre.

So many times, i feel Rediff is not able to comeup with proper title to its news content. Biggest is not proper title; Oldest, underneath One of the oldest as Sachin may have similar age group fan. Title should properly reflect its grammar tense & its content.
