"It wasn't easy getting back into international cricket after a long absence. This is the highest standards of cricket being played in the world and playing in the ICL and its low standards of cricket, it needs a great deal of mental adjustment," Razzaq told the Dawn newspaper in London [ Images ].
Razzaq made a successful comeback to the Pakistan side taking two wickets after he rushed to England [ Images ] as a replacement for injured pacer Yasir Arafat.
However, the allrounder is not satisfied with his performance and said he had set high standards for himself and blamed the ICL for making things difficult.
Razzaq said he had breathed a sigh of relief after quitting the ICL last month. Razzaq, Mohammad Yousuf [ Images ], Rana Naved and Imran Nazir [ Images ] have all quit the ICL and the PCB has already got clearance from the ICC [ Images ] to draft back the first three into the national team.
Yousuf and Naved are expected to join Razzaq in the national team for the coming tour of Sri Lanka [ Images ] from June 27.
"I think I still need two to three weeks to get up to the standards of international cricket," Razzaq said.
Check this : http://cricket.rediff.com/report/2009/jun/17/icl-is-low-standard-cricket-says-razzaq.htm Particularly this guy should not be allowed in any indian tournament. After playing IPL & earned money, he may say : IPL is another low standard cricket.

SRK would surely take these guys if there is any chance. He has special concern for such people and who are from our neighbour nation. He had a special interest in Shoaib, then one guy from bangladesh he inducted in team. Why? hasn't he got anyone from Srilanka or any other nation. if given opportunity he would not mind taking all players from pakistan and bangladesh. SRK definitly has connection there.

very correct we should not worry if he funds terrorist activities in India with his own money ;)) further probe in Newark could have shown the real connection of the secular god with Headley, Dawood, Ilyas Kashmiri and even Osama...kudos to congress they get ready made solved cases from US to show their prowess and then condemns US if they investigate secular god in such terror connection ;))

Without reading form I am commnetting:- It seems Shahrukh is looking after Pak player through IPL. Tensions are not seems to cool down in his team but he still want more and more Pak players in the team. whenever we listen appearing of my Pak player in IPL why he appeared through KKR banner. Instead of look new talent in India surely this teams seems to be changed into PKR instead of KKR.
